Seems like a bit of a silly thing to do before a cup game?

One player asked the ref to be understanding, given the skins matched the shirt Pontian was originally wearing (without being argumentative) and ref gave him a yellow card.
If this is as stated, quite harsh and surely would have some grounds for appeal, unless the player spoke in a manner that was deemed "abusive" by the ref.
You cannot appeal a yellow card (except for mistaken identity - and then you must provide the player it should have been), so whilst it does seem harsh I'm afraid there's nothing that can be done.

He aint a player he is the Ressies coach

and spot on Nuggett, and farcical as a yellow may be, which results in a red, the is no appeal, thus suspension must be served, good news for who ever they play this week and bad luck for the player

I dont think it was a factor at all,I was giving the fomite from munno para, alittle insight into the kind of commitment it takes to perform every week in div1 ,as he seemed to think that the boys couldnt have been proud of the effort,!he fails to tell that we lost 2 starters during the game 1 to concussion, the other to knee damage at the end of the day were still in the cup still in div 1,where are Munno para?

My comment was made as I have seen the vale boys play before and what I have seen this year, this effort was nowhere near their best and think that if they are happy with the way they performed they should think again. I think as players they expected better than they gave and both teams looked like they could give more but for whatever reason didn't.
Yes, Munno Para are in div3. Yes I play for them, the way both teams played on Sunday didn't NOT look like any div1 team I have seen over the last few years.
Let's hope that the injuries are not too bad and that both teams play better for the rest of the season
Didn't one of your starters come from Munno Para last season?????? I do believe so.
I do believe over the last few years a few players you have taken from MP in both A's and B's yeah???

Ease up on the blatant fouls and play fair and we all, will see some brilliant soccer played.
Reminds me of Mo's time at Gardens, very good player, very good goalscorer BUT he was also abused verbally and kicked from pillar to post and eventually snapped and that was the end.

He gives just as much as he gets and coming on here telling ppl to take it easy on him Is hardly gonna help him, seen him get tackled fairly last year and when play went up the other end he booted a player in the back of the legs out of frustration, you say he needs protection what about when he lashes out at opponents surely they need protection too ..needs to Start taking responsibility for his actions and stop letting his team mates down

Its a major problem when a Macedonia S.C executive can come on to this forum & try to justify their players actions on Sunday because he gets constant attention from oppersition players??
Their players abuse & intimidation of the referee when he was give a red card was absolutley disgusting & should not be tolerate, let alone defended. If this idiot is allowed to play football again this season this Association has a major problem, the League needs to make a stand & show that this sort off abusive behaviour towards their Referees will NOT BE TOLERATED anymore!
No matter how bad of a game the Referee's having.

Mohamad was suspended for the season by the GARDENS when he lost it, not the League & we were fighting relegation that year so it was a Hard decission for our Club to make, but it had to be done! And being constantly racially vilified did not help him with his defense, because the Referee didnt do it!

If players are good enough to go from Munno to any div1 club, and start in the first team, doesnt this just show that Munno have under-performed over the years? ;)

I remember when Mo rocked up to training at St Augustine's to play. We were all laughing and mucking around and he was doing sit ups, we all thought, 'meh, the new guy is trying to impress the coach'

Then, for the next 10 minutes he continually smashed the ball into the top corner from 40 yards out - i will never, ever forget that.

He is such a top bloke and was really part of the fabric at Saints but of course we knew he wouldn't be around for long and, as it was, Gardens came knocking. It's such a shame that people choose racism as a way to stop players dominating, when they can't get anywhere near them on the park.

I agree that at times players are targeted but surely you don't think he is the only "gifted" player to get some attention? I know the Downs think Nathan Day has a bullseye on his shins, Paul Embomo is consistantly fouled and seeing first hand how players would target Lachlan Campbell always made me think that referees need to get tougher on fouls. Reality is though these players have all carved out great careers whilst been targeted. Maybe your guy needs to learn how to deal with it a bit better and get some better support around him?
