Nine_dollars, are you playing on Saturday? Might come for a look

Web would be confident in the B's as Brahma like Westies have some former Salisbury players who joined after their first team was eliminated.

There has to be fines for that? I'm sure there'd be plenty of teams willing to take their spot in that match

there excuse was , they rocked up to the federation club , waiting for us , because apparently on the saasl website our home ground is up the road from lady wood reserve , they get there , decide they want to argue with us , take 10 minutes to get ready , and had no team sheet , big waste of a day

Excuse was bullshit, the website has the correct ground. They turned up more than 15 minutes late, we were entitled to the win but agreed to play.

10 minutes later they're not on the pitch. no team sheet etc.. Disappointing but in reality what choice did the ref have
The ref then asked to be escorted to his car as the abuse he was getting after being accused of being bribed. Hazara blamed everyone apart from their own piss poor organisational skills.

Was going to ask if they were of Afghan origin due to the name 'Hazara'.

Maiwand you say? That explains it.

I am somewhat surprised this club is still allowed to participate in SAASL competitions after a post-match incident I had the immense misfortune to witness several years ago.

It was a Cup game at Valley View Secondary School. I was surprised - and relieved! - they did not also turn their attention on me. A report had been submitted.

Thanks to St Peters for their hospitality on Saturday afternoon. Made a nice change watching a game on a Saturday and in such beautiful surroundings. Two very entertaining games and hats off to the person who made the decision to get the big cans of beer and sell them at a reasonable price - I hope the club did well out of it - I know the Downs wouldn't mind coming back next year.
Just a question on the Downs game, we did see a dodgy penalty given for Saints' second goal but when the player (same one I think?) blatantly dived looking for another one and it wasn't given why wasn't he at least spoken to? Good game for the neutral with 7 goals though.

Come on redback, get those rose glasses off... the penalty for clear as daylight! I'm pretty sure the dive was there when they were chasing hard, not good when that happens! I thought Brad did a pretty good job, let a fair bit go.

Both the ressies and first team games were great to watch!
