Div 1 OISC vs Stirling

OISC were by far the better side and pretty unlucky. Twice the stirling goalkeeper tipped the ball onto the underside of the crossbar, with the ball just not crossing the line on both occasions. OISC then had a clear penalty turned down (the official assistant flagged for a penalty, the referee awarded the OISC player a yellow card for diving) and then a misshit Stirling clearance thundered against their own crossbar. You thought it was going to be one of those days for OISC, but the goal finally came.

C results for MA Hawks and for Salisbury Villa.

Shame some clubs can't include all their teams' results.

Salisbury Cs forfeited.
Time for some righteous indignation

Unfortunately due to many injuries to A, B and C's players at Villa we have struggled to get a C team together the last few weeks as many fit players have had to make the step up to reserves and A's as a result. The issue doesn't look like resolving itself any time soon so we apologise to the teams we have forfeited against, and to the teams we probably have to forfeit against in the future rounds.

We are obviously very disappointed to have to take this measure but unfortunately we couldn't have predicted the number of players we would lose at this point in the season.

Again we apologise to all the other teams in the C league and wish them all the best for the remainder of the season.

Why not just forfeit the rest of the season then. Just past the halfway mark now and by the looks of it, the C league will come down to goal difference. How would it be fair to forfeit to several teams giving them a +3 and then field a team and get pumped 5,6,7 or 8 nil?

was informed from his wife, that JB has a fractured cheekbone, broken ribs, bruised kidney and a bruised lung.
Not good news, and is having surgery on thursday
it was a fair 50/50 challenge, but hate to see things like that happen, to any player!

Can anyone from Villa confirm whether the Cs are fielding a team tomorrow?
