Uni b's drew 3-3 with torrens valley. Fair result given we're not too flash away from home. That said, both sides had ample opportunity to grab all 3 points. We were 2 up in the first half and had a bad 10-15 minute spell to let them back in
Ref was a bit of an oddball. Made some odd decisions during the game. Blew up in the second half to award torrens valley a free for what appeared to be nothing at all and when we pressed him for an explanation, we were told to drop it :?
For any rams posters on here, how is the fella who went off in the second half with (what looked like) an ankle injury?

Lad with ankle injury was ok. Don't think it's too serious. At worst maybe ligament tear.
Rams A grade defeated Uni 6-0 in the end. Uni had some good players and seem quite even across A and B grade.
The Rams are starting to gather some momentum.

We drews 3-3 with flinders, only got ourselves to blame, gave away sloppy goals and yours truly missed a glourious chance to win it,
B's 3-2, lads did well to come back going down to 10 men from awful refereeing, can only apoligise for the way our player reacted and went for the ref, ref was bad but cant condone heading for the ref.Just glad our guys stopped him before he got there!

A good game spoiled by a bad ref a draw probably a fair result after your "glourious chance" to win it we had our own golden opportuinty which could have been a goal , a corner, or a penalty and instead was just a goal kick If there had been a winner both sides would have felt that the ref was the reason as it was both sides can be proud of the way they played.

Lad in the B's who charged the ref just needs to calm down, ref descions go agasint you all the time calling them names and trying to fight them won't help at all. Was very pleased with the way your boys and coach handled it. We have recomended no further action and won't be filling a club report so hopefully just the week off will be enough to cool him down.

The Flinders club ref had another shocker? And the Flinders posters on here keep saying the guy is independent and doesnt know anyone in the club?

Despite what Clever Trevor thinks and why he cares I don't know.. The ref is independent from the club, he is not a player or member or the club, simply employed by us to be our club ref. He does get stuff wrong as do all ref's and really he is just a young guy still learning the game. But trying to infer bias is just stupid and incorrect.

You may not like his performance but then a lot of the time niether do we. If you really wanted to see a bad ref then you need not have looked further than the one in the A game who baffeled both sets of players and coaches with his inconsient calls and school teacher manner. Never have I ever heard a ref tell a pair of players to "stand there and don't move"

Really looking forward to the return match as the Hillbillies were a good bunch of lads.

I think what Clevor Trevor is saying is that it seems like every week someone is complaining about your B grade referee. No matter how much you argue that he is independent if someone complains every week maybe there is merit to the complaints. I understand that maybe he is independent but maybe he enjoys being paid to ref the B's every home game and is trying his hardest not to lose that job. Hence he could be a little biased to keep you guys happy.

I'm confused as to how Angkor A grade have already won the league! It's most definitely mathematically possible to win the league, even from a fourth or fifth. They are 9 points ahead of second with 12 games to go. A lot can happen in 12 games. Boree and Kham could get injured and they could drop several points. They've obviously had a relatively injury free run so far unlike us and many other clubs.

Yeah mate we have had heaps of injuries, on the weekend against Angkor we only have 5 of our startin 11 avalible. It's been tough 4 us but players r slowly starting to come back.
Angkor r a good side but I Honestly thought that greenock and one tree hill where both betta sides than them. They might of just had an off day tho but I'm really lookin forward to the return leg with a full side.

I thought if the other team forfeits u automatically get the 3 points.
The league has told us that this is not the case but can't seen any where in our fixture where we can replay this game.

Yes the games have been postponed not forfeited. We had our 2 Bhutanese teams that make up our Saturday teams playing a tournament in Brisbane against 7 other Bhutanese refugee teams from Qld, NSW, Vic & Tas which one the teams from SA won.

We apologies for these games being postponed but it was important for their community to compete in this tournament & we will try to play these catch up game where possible.

One Tree Hill 2 vs 3 Torrens Valley - Stuey to be very sore after the game
East Adelaide 2 vs 4 Angkor - Boree to be leaving soon
Adelaide Uni 0 vs 3 Greenock - depends on what team Greenock puts on park. No consistency.
Parafield Gardens 0 vs 4 Flinders - stroll in the park for Flinders.
