BBQ????........WTFcolon clenser wrote:Hey LFC8, how thingz?
Your absence was deeply felt last night around the barbeque.
35 players were present last night, good effort considering temperature.
Sunday we are lucky enough again to have access to Magill Sports centre and the swimming pool. We'll be there from 9.30 am for a kick on the oval followed by a swim.
See you there.
Did I get my Thursday's mixed around???

Trust us LFC8, we agree with you, to finish 5th and be promoted is stupid it really devalues what all teams acheived above us last year, we believe we may not be ready for div 2 football this year either.LFC8 wrote:Yes maxin in the shade it's going to be a very strong Div this year.......I think the Pontians will win the league but it's on for young and old for the rest of the places.
Not bagging Plympton but to finish 5th and promoted is a joke!!!!
The scary thing is we beat Imbros twice last year!

As I was writing my comment it did spring to mind that you guys beat us.Canine wrote:Trust us LFC8, we agree with you, to finish 5th and be promoted is stupid it really devalues what all teams acheived above us last year, we believe we may not be ready for div 2 football this year either.LFC8 wrote:Yes maxin in the shade it's going to be a very strong Div this year.......I think the Pontians will win the league but it's on for young and old for the rest of the places.

Don't think I was there for the game at our ground but when we played you guys at your ground your keeper was the only reason you guys beat us......HE WAS ON FIRE!!!!!
Good luck for the season Canine and as I said I wasn't bagging the Bulldogs in anyway.

Will see you in a few weeks guys as we have a trial game organised with you. Lets hope its not 40 deg.maxin in the shade wrote:they beat us fair and square in both games LFC8.
i think in the return game at our home ground we were in front aswell, and they came from behind to win

It wasn’t so much an internal. The A’s were split up into one group and had a game, and the B’s/C’s did the sameLFC8 wrote:Maxi, how did the internal go yesterday???
How many players turned up??
I was going to come but didn't get up in time
There were about 38-40 players that rocked up, continuing the good turnouts for pre-season training (lets see though how many we get on a cold, rainy winters Tuesday night!)
We have our first trial next week, but it looks as though its gonna be 40 degrees, so we’ll see if that goes ahead
Just heard it's going to be in the mid 20's so it's all systems gomaxin in the shade wrote:It wasn’t so much an internal. The A’s were split up into one group and had a game, and the B’s/C’s did the sameLFC8 wrote:Maxi, how did the internal go yesterday???
