RESULTS: Adelaide Uni were too busy revising each others scrotums and rectums that they decided to cancel the B's game due to poor pitch conditions. Upon arrival this was baffling but obviously a tactic as most of their players were sitting on each others dongs in Wayville Showgrounds.
With that all happening the focus turned to the A Grade. With the ground in very playable conditions the crowd was building. Come 2:50 word got around the ref was running late. By 3 o'clock the Adelaide Uni players had pulled down the nets and vanished like a fart in the wind. Coincidentally there would have been the 2 o'clock dong session at Wayville Showgrounds. Can't help but think it was all a big set up on their behalf just to avoid playing.
Matches are now being played on the 14th of July. Thanks Adelaide Uni, thanks.

Uni were told this morning that the pitch could only hold 1 game so the B's was cancelled.

Our full A team was there ready to play. At 3pm our coaches were calling everyone they could about the ref who did not turn. Uni offered a club ref which was refused by Pumas (and well within their rights to do so) and then at about 3:15 the coaches from both teams agreed to cancel and reschedule the game. The Uni boys then took the gear down. It was done quickly as there were 20 people helping out.

Both teams missed out playing today and the fault lays with the ref. Uni had no control over that and wanted to play

So you're saying that A's team you had on the park today will be carbon copy come July 14th??? If that's the case no dramas but I seriously doubt that and would love to be proven wrong.

Thanks. We've been struggling with injuries, exams and general player availability, so to get close to our strongest 11 on the park certainly helps. Hopefully we can get on a good run, but we've got three tough games in a row to come so will need to play like that every week from here on.

I noticed in today's paper it had Adelaide Uni 2 1 - 1 Adelaide Pumas (5-0)

I thought these games were called off? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Yes, WTF. Puma players that have seen this in the paper are furious, current contact with the league. With everything that has happened since saturday, this is just plain weird!

Spoke to the Uni coach and he knows nothing about it as he advised everyone that the games were cancelled. Big surprise to Uni and something they will support Pumas on having corrected. It could just be a mistake by SAASL in passing the information onto the paper.

Don't think anyone should be getting too upset as it is an obvious mistake somewhere along the line and easy enough to fix.

Predictions?

STHN BREAKERS ADEL UNI 2 close game last time but home advantage should count 2 -1
ACU FALCONS BUDAPEST Can't see past Buda 1 - 3
MURRAY BRIDGE FLINDERS 1 Will it be a full flinders team? If so then flinders 0 -3
HAZARA STRATHALBYN Hazara 3 -2
ADEL PUMAS ST PETERS 2 St Peters impressed when we played them, draw 2 - 2
They seek him here, they seek him there, they seek him everywhere.
