We certainly had a load of chances in the second half as well as the first.

I think we hit the post or bar 3 or 4 times.

We battle on and rue another game that goes by without taking our chance to move up the table.

Just a question Did the 2 no neck shrecks in the middle of the park for easties actually touch the ball today as all I can remember is them kicking and elbowing blokes.

I thought a draw was a fair result consisdering there were plenty of chances for both teams.

Only going by what I have read and if Fulham in the A team were down to 10 men, away from home and 0-0 when they went down to 10 and for 30mins then a great result.

No need for Vale to say anything really except well done to Fulham.

Well done to B and C team as well.

Finally I always believe Ga Pala match reports

And Andy B sent u a msg about the socks - sorry away and didn't get ur call or msg until just now as I just logged on to c the scores.
Where has anyone from the Vale said any different??

Cheers for all Fulham boys for coming in after the game.

IMO we had more of the play but the end of the day, Fulham played the counter well. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Didn't see much of the 1st half Smiff, but the second half seemed to be all Farm

Gardens got a penalty for hand ball early on, then doubled that lead before half time

Farm pulled a goal back from a corner and hit the post midway into the second half in open play

Pitch held up pretty well, back pitch is a mess though
Quite an entertaining game to watch and thought both sides played quite well considering the poor surface on one side of the pitch. Luckily the rain held out otherwise it may have been different. Thought it could have gone either way and Farm a little unlucky not to get anything out of a good even contest. Unlucky hand ball and a lapse in concentration by the Farm defence a few minutes later was the difference in the first half. To Farms credit, they took it to PG in the second half and controlled the first 30 minutes equalising (SORRY SCORING) from a corner then hitting the post. The last 15 PG took control again and saw Farm off. Very high standard game for the conditions and a pleasure to watch except for that cold breeze that cut through you in the second half....thanks to my mate Johnnie Walker for helping me through it :D .

Not that im biased or anything but the race for the Div 2 title/promotion is very tight - will be an interesting run home.

Another big day at the Farm with 5 games somehow managing to go ahead.

A v Parafield Gardens 1-2
Another game aganist Gardens where we felt we could of got something more from the game than we did. Gardens scored from a penalty and a well taken goal which had a hint of offside but nothing you would complain about. We just couldn't get things going it seemed. In the second half, we created lots, scored one and piled on the pressure but just couldn't put enough shots on target. Gardens defended well but we really played well up the hill. Can't fault the effort or the performance of our guys, nor Gardens for that matter. It was just their day today. Disappointing as we could of closed the gap to Downs and we have them this week. Very disappointing that it was an opportinity lost but again, can't really be upset with the way we played. Was another great game agains the two teams which seem to match up well against each other.

B's V Parafield Gardens 2-1
We pinched it and we did it late. With 10 to go we were 1-0 down. We scored a well taken free kick and I didn't see the second. Fairly even game with both teams having their chances but Gardens would be annoyed they let 1 if not 3 points slip.

C's V Parafield Gardens 2-1
Went down a goal early but we managed to work our way back into the game. A penalty to us and a goal with 20 to go made for a intense ending with our boys holding on.

C2's V Para Hills West 3-3
The boys were 2-1 up at half time. They were playing alright although a little too much long stuff and not enough movement on the postage stamp. I missed the second half but obvioulsy Westies scored two. A good effort from our guys but it could have been more.

O35's V Athelstone 5-5
A day for the goalkeepers. Stones were 5-1 with around 20 to go and we managed to steal a point. Sounded like an entertaining game.

Brahma Lodge V Women 1-1
A tough clash against the girls main rival. One of the more phyiscal clashes the girls would of had. Wen't one down but a goal to Heather and some good goalkeeping by Michelle saw us get a point.

Cheers to Gardens for the day. Great support over the bar and BBQ. Still a few eskies but in fairness, the regular Gardens faithful did the right thing and we do appreciate that. Good luck to them for the rest of the year but not too much luck

Also want to say a thank you to the Athelstone 35's. They all hung around, had a few beers, something to eat and had a good chat with a few of our guys. Good bunch of blokes.

Next week is a walk in the park against Downs at Argana  Looking forward to the challenge of a pissed off Maroon crew.
