P/Hills vs South coast - i also think Sth Coast will snatch it....2-3

geez, what a shock

You seem to have an issue with the Raptors Adelaide Man. You must have had some involvement with the club at some stage...maybe you didnt get a game or maybe there weren't enough chicken wings left over by the time you finished training. Why do you despise the club so much?
I am curious as the committee never gets involved in team selections, 4 teams have been created to accomodate the number of players, no players are paid, the club is well run and players are well looked after with food, social outings, trainers, playing kits, tracksuits etc. What's the problem?

Pt Pirie v Seaford - wow Long trip for Seaford but they will come home empty handed, Pirie will wanna bounce back after last week and will take the point 3-0
Munno Para v ISC Raptors - Match of the round, Raptor are the form team ATM and MP haven't played well of late and will wanna turn it around this week but think it will be a share of the points 2-2
TTG v Plymton - After watch both these teams this year TTG play the smarter football and will take the points here but won't be easy 2-1
San Marco v Polonia - San Marco will be to good at home and will continue there climb up the ladder with a 3-0 win
P/Hills v Sth Coast - both teams are desperate for a win but I think it will be a high scoring draw 4-4

San Marco 3 v 1 Polonia (B's)

San Marco 1 v 0 Polonia (A's)

Was a rather even contest in the first half. Both sides had their chances but San Marco looked a little more potent going forward. Polonia had a good one-on-one chance which slipped through the keeper's leg's (but not before San Marco's number 1 managed to get an inner thigh on it!). Unfortunately, the ball pulled up short and was cleared rather quickly. The home side had a number of opportunities - the best of which was blazed over the bar from close range.

Second half was a slightly different story. With Polonia's legs tiring (again, lads playing two games) and San Marco's A grade experience showing, the home side took the lead after a bit of a defensive scramble. Gift of a goal really but was reward for attacking pressure being applied in the five minutes beforehand. With Polonia needing a desperate point, the away side pushed which opened up the backline somewhat to the San Marco attack. Alas, one goal was all it took to win it for San Marco and a much needed 3 points for them.

Was a very good game from 2 very organised teams. Nothing much has changed from the good battles these clubs had 6-7 years ago. Pretty hard and fair contests all over the park. Should be a cracker come the last game of the season.

yeah i reckon youre right, especially now that we have lions, then seaford and sth coast both at home with all our boys back from europe by then.... certainly gonna give them a good run for their money, its turning out to be an interesting year in div 3.

I know this is going to sound odd but i don't know how Port Pirie are top. We have played much better sides this year. They have some very clinical forwards but are average at the back if you pressure them. Some of the refereering decisions were very puzzling for both sides. No excuses though, it's going to be a real struggle to stay up. We just wish we could put
out our strongest side at least once before the seasons out. Massive game for both us and south coast next week. Should be a good crowd at there place for the southern derby
