C's S.Villa didn't turn up, presumably a forfeit? But I don't know for sure.

A's - Stirling dominated early, but Villa broke the deadlock with a nice little flick between the legs to set up a one-on-one with our keeper. Stirling equalised with a cracking goal into the top corner with the Villa keeper no chance. A quick Stirling counter attack saw the Villa keeper lobbed from 35m(?) out & 2-1 at half time. Stirling scored shortly after half time for 3-1 (Villa keeper getting down well to save, but it rebounded off the post then the keeper, then just dribbled in through the mud.) Villa really came at us for the rest of the half & had some really good periods of pressure, but couldn't convert. A good, hard game with some willing tackling on both sides. I'm not sure whether it was me or the Villa supporter next to me that needed the seeing eye dog.

An amazing finish if you are a Viper....Was a tight game with very few chances, modbury had 2 penalties, one saved the other keeper got a touch but rolled off the fingers into the net.

Modbury would have been feeling quite good about themselves with 5 to go until a couple of freaky goals from the Vipers. Unbelievable result and the boys were still celebrating when I left. Modbury deserve to feel dissapointed but we have all been in that position and today was our turn to celebrate.

B's......An off day for us to say the least, Modbury played the pitch better and were more clinical when it counted.

C's...Good game from what I saw, Vipers will only be stronger from merging the 2 C Sides...

Cove won 3-0 played on bottom pitch pretty bad condition but at least played and good luck to my big defender copped a knock in the head , fractured jaw and temple operation tomorrow the things we go through for this game. all the best mate

But in response your question Steve#6, it was a similar incident to what happened at your ground. Tough words were said from a distance, bit of a "let me at him" from the safety zone behind 3 players.
Couple of players (both sides) were distressed and emotions got the better.

It's all the refs fault as he lost control but hey what do you expect from petros.... Should have taken control of the Brooksy situation a long time ago but some people just seem to let him get away with anything.... Absolute c.o.c.k sucker of a bloke and have no respect for him at all after his actions yesterday.... Gotta say I had a lot of respect for what he achieved in football before yesterday... Anyway what's done is done now dissapointing not to have won the game after being in a winning position...
