The B's game was unbelievable. How Sturt got out of that one with the 3 points is beyond me. Wanderers ran riot and should have been atleast 6 or 7 nil up at half time, then 2 scrappy goals in the space of a few minutes towards the end of the second half turned the game on it's head.redders wrote:Wanderers vs Sturt Marion

The A's game saw a very impressive performance by Wanderers. You would never be able to tell which team was top of the league and which was fighting relegation on the flow of the match. Sturt weren't terrible, but will need to play a lot better if they are going to stay in contention for the title.

A's Monarchs 2 Vipers 2
Very disappointing after leading and dominating for 75 minutes again... two shots on goal from Monarchs all game and two goals.
B's Monarchs 0 Vipers 7 (i think... maybe 6)
ARBE v Gleeson score?

Re: Results Saturday 16/06/2012
Yet another disappointing road trip for the boys from Budapest....
Unbelievable 4-1 loss to the A's. All over the Breakers, particularly in the first half. Couldn't put chances away in the first half and two goals out of no where saw the boys behind in a big way. Fought back to 2-1 at half time but it just wasn't to be. Trying to press saw the score line blow out.
Credit to the Breakers as they took almost every chance. Can't wait to play them in the second round at the Graveyard.
This was just to be one of those days!!!
Boys need to regroup for next week as a trip to Murray Bridge looms the following week......oh no another road trip.
Reserves managed to grind out a 2 - 1 win over the Breakers though. Well done.
At one stage I thought we wouldn't have the numbers to even field a team.

A's Sturt not good enough today, Wanderers far too good. How were they 2nd to bottom? B's Sturt got dominated first half lucky to go into the break 1-0 down. Second half much better display by us, how you boys didnt lose 3/4-1 is beyond me ;)Adrenaline wrote:The B's game was unbelievable. How Sturt got out of that one with the 3 points is beyond me. The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas.
