Went to the Downs Sturt game for a look.

Embarrassment of riches at the Downs, quality like Lindsey (apologise spelling) should be playing in the premier league.

Boredom is the only thing that will beat them.
Sturt defended poorly in the first half and the keeper was quality but they gave gave a good account of themselves without some of their quality player.

No Saturday V Sunday argument the Downs are just quality

Very efficient display, Downs couldn't complain

Correct, we cannot complain about been beaten. Easties played well, and the keeper made a couple of solid saves in the first half to keep them in the game. 1st two goals came from defensive/keeper mistakes. The only thing we have to complain about is that we did not bring our best game and it cost us.

From what I saw of the first 30 minutes, it looked like Inter thought they only had to turn up to get the win and were then found lacking. They looked like a team capable of better but knights wanted it more and were more switched on.

What was the keeper doing for knights first goal?

Sturt had 7 players missing today from their usual starting 11 so not a bad result really when you have that many having to be replaced.... so sunday v sat comp... no arguement to be had on this basis.

second goal wasnt directly from a corner west beach # 10 got a flick and will be no doubt claiming the goal, best team won. west beach delivery from set pieces was excellent, especially the corners.

Good even game in the first half until Jets lost there striker to injury.

Some baffling decisions from the Ref but Fulham took their chances.....

Jets gave Fulham a good run and only some poor defending let them take the game.

Best wished to the PHE lad stretchered off with a broken ankle just before half-time. It came as he attempted to prevent the Ignatians first goal.

their ressies played as well as the c"s but they could not field a first team, the league should give the game to Brahma and not sure if their c"s won but reverse that result as well, start teaching these teams a lesson wasting other teams time and expence.

jack mehorf you have no idea mate the downs havent been that comprehensive over any side this year when your sweeper is walking around juggling the ball laughing and this is whilst putting out a second string side never got.out of first gear, second half they had 8 non first 11 blokes on the park.. i dont think sat vs sun argument is even worth starting on

i guess the Bs won't be going far in the Cup then with all the players cup-tied to the As... (unless they've already been knocked out, cbf looking).
