Happened to me on several occasions...promotion from Div 2....new keeper rocks up....just got to get your head down, work harder and earn your spot back !

I was still training 2 nights a week playing for the Downs when I was living in Enfield, Evanston, Hindmarsh, Colonel Light Gardens, Darlington, Marion, Seacombe Heights, Bridgewater and finally Happy Valley.
The tyranny of distance took its toll in the end

Sorry mate- I was not trying to say that Tommy was playing somewhere else. I was just giving you a name of someone who has been good enough for a long time to play in your first team but with the influx of players was not getting a game anymore and has now chosen to reprioritise for this season.
