Like Robbie did to you , two years ago, when playing inter.
Think before ya speak.

Visy pay Chris Judd an extra couple hundred thousand a year on top of his Carlton contract. Third Party payments are pretty common in professional sport, maybe the amateur league is heading down the same track

what on earth does this have to do with the saasl?redders wrote:Visy pay Chris Judd an extra couple hundred thousand a year on top of his Carlton contract. Third Party payments are pretty common in professional sport, maybe the amateur league is heading down the same track

Dont take this the wrong way (Gardens) and Im not saying it over yet or anything BUT would signing anyone now really going to help WIN THE LEAGUE? BIG SIGNINGS sometimes cost BIG BUCKS?jogger wrote:Big signing coming for the Gardens...

It ain't over until the fat lady sings and with all due respect that is probably the difference between those teams who win things and those that dream about winning things. Not wishing unwell on anyone but if Trimmers gets injured the Downs could quickly come back to the pack. Looking less and less likely for sure but if you give up now you hand them the title even if it goes pear shape for them. Gardens will never surrender.

Point taken BUT I dont think its JUST TRIMBOLI doing things at the Downs seems to be a few other quality players there doing there part! You Too wrote:It ain't over until the fat lady sings and with all due respect that is probably the difference between those teams who win things and those that dream about winning things. What I was saying is Downs are 8 points clear at the moment, would it be a waste of $$ if you were to pay someone to come and play now!
If you have injuries and suspensions fair enough BUT the Fat lady is surely warming up her voice! Played 6 won 6 - If they get to Played 8 won 8 (2 weeks away) I think she could start singing her heart out!
