Yeah fair call i think with Inter being smashed first game 6-0 everyone thought they were going to be easybeats but Earl has done well with the side as i thought they deserved a point yday...but at the end of the day you need to put your chances away & not to make silly mistakes in the defence.
We are Liverpool Football Club and the expectations are so high.

A fair few tissues required after the game.
very lucky win, Inter deserved better but didn't see anyone from Inter cry so don't know what you're on about!
Yes credit has to go to Earl, Inter are a good squad & played very well. It was a good game but Gardens won 2-1 to say Inter deserved better is hilarious they lost! (it's like saying Man U deserved better)
Our defender brought down a Inter Player with a heal clip just outside the box, he was last man but the referee gave him benifit of the doubt & a Yellow card very debatable.
The tissues were required after the game when a number of Inter players & officials had a go at the referee for not sending our player off, poor form I thought

Jason ? Strange...on the team sheet number 9 was listed as D.Anderson ???

Seems a good player, is he a new signing ? Looks good enough for your A's (although you didn't need him today. )
Good mix of old heads and young legs for Florina...Marron, Hart, Singlewood, Paikos etc...[/quote]

New signing since season start, absolute gun but i suppose he just didn't make the squad this week. :?

Big thank you to the Maco boys in the Cs who played the game in great spirit.

Does anyone have any more results from Div 7 (Div 2 Cs) please??

Thanks.

Okay, we were top going into this round, so you would have thought 8-1 would be enough to stay there
We have Stingrays this week so hopefully its our turn to put a few more away!
Vale v Aguila should be good in a couple of weeks!

We were up 3-0 at half time, and scored early in the second half to kill the game off. Brahma scored a consolation goal about five minutes from the end.

Tough day out for the grove and if that is the playing stocks they have for the season, it's going to be a long one. Docherty all class but really lacks a lot of support. And if they get injuries, only young lads that are able to step up and they are really still learning. At no point did they throw in the towl so plenty of respect there.
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the loss of Boree from the Sunday Premier League and the effect that this will have on the Grove scoring goals.

He has to be a huge loss for them. I wonder how many points they accumulated while he was away from the side last year. It also doesn't hurt losing your 1st choice keeper from last year (I hear he is enjoying div 3  ), although Hullsy is doing a good job.

The Grove have goals in them, Gaje Ferdinands & Docherty are no slouches. The grove wont mind the underdog tag they have been slapped with so early.

You might wanna have a think about your supporters before we start the mud slinging, virtually everyone of them took their own drinks to the ground, and please don't deny it as they were tipping out their ice from the eskys right behind me.
I didn't have to queue up once for my Cherry Lime Breezer as the bar was empty.

Get your own house in order before you come on here having a go.

I saw one bloke with an esky, me and the other dozen lads I was standing with purchased beer and food from your bar all day. Also went into the club after the game to drink as well, I left at 6:30 which was about an hour longer than 90% of your people. So don't worry about mud being thrown at you just yet, as you seem to be doing a good job at it yourself.

Going on the assumption you can read, I said the Grove player should be ashamed and in turn deserved his red card. I also named one person out of EVERYONE at Ingle-slopes that day so I'm hardly 'mud-slinging' your club. I also never defended the grove for bringing their own esky -- to fix this problem maybe open your canteen before halftime through the B's game and people may have something to drink and god-forbid eat.

In conclusion sit bac, have a Cherry Lime Breezer and chill out, I never attacked Ingle Farms club I was just wondering why two grown men acted like foul-mouth kids on a playground.

Mountains out of mole hills. In regards to the esky, yeah there was one but what can you do. Almost every club does it and its something that you can't police or do anything about. It was a small minority and for the most part, Grove supporters and players supported the bar and BBQ really well. We sold out of all the food which is something we haven't done for along while and with the exception of Motts, Grove both last year and this year stayed at the clubroom longer than anyone else from other clubs. Even I left before them. Fair point about our guys leaving early although I think a few felt like a good sleep after an engagement party last night.

As for the B red card, didn't see it. I think the Grove player got frustrated from been nutmeg, got in a tangle with one of our players and both got booked. He then turned to someone on the sideline and they abused each other before the ref gave him a second yellow. No doubt both parties should of acted better.

Grove weren't bad yesterday and a few bad keeper errors cost them some momentum. They turned it over more than they would of liked but they harassed all day. Take them lightly at your peril. Boree would be very handy for them to have but in saying that, it would be handy if we had Luke Air back.

Would like to thank Grove for their support yesterday. Good support over the whole day and on the whole, was 3 good spirited matches. The income they put over the bar and canteen last year was 3rd and this year, they wouldn't be much behind that so no need to have a go at them at all.

Meeting Isobel on Wednesday night actually for the West Torrens SEC. After listening to Craig Thomson today, you can do anything and get away with it

Western Strikers canned the game on Saturday night with not enough players.

They had 13 against us two weeks ago? That's poor.

West Torrens - mate, you'd need a swing of what, 10-12% to take that away from Kouts. Might as well run for Croydon or Ramsey while you're at it.

It was disappointing.

I wouldn't run in this election. Doubt I ever will espcially in there considering I've lived there a whole year. The swing needed is even more I think :( Would need some good redistrubitions to take it off him but hopefully make a dent at least.

Kouts would be next in line for Premier if something happened to Jay I would of thought
