Serie A Round 38
Last season: Catania 1-0 Udinese
Whenever these sides have played in Serie A, the winning team has always won to nil.

I'm glad that I'll most likely be able to watch Juve on Rai this week, but still I think it's pathetic we cannot even have one round where all matches are on at the same time.

Along with Maldini, one of the best ever one club greats.Juventino wrote:End of an era tonight with Del Piero starting his last match in Turin.
Remember his debut for Juve and the many great memories he has given not only to Juve,, but to italian football.
Hopefully he just pulls the pin and doesnt go to america or anywhere else.

What a season.
There is absoutely no way that someone could have told any Juve fan that we'd win Serie A undefeated and have a chance at the double at the start of the season.
Again, full credit to Conte, the board, the players and the fans. Amazing.
Udinese deservedly back in the CL playoffs. They were probably the best team in the league in the first half of the season, but to have another season like this after losing Inler, Sanchez, Zapata, etc is a huge effort.
Nice to see Inter finish down in 6th as well
Now for coppa final!

I think it was hilarious watch Inler leave for Napoli thinking he would be playing UCL year in, year out, but instead Udine have qualified ahead of Napoli this season.David Puddy wrote:What a season.

Great season for Lazio, even though we didn't get the 3rd UCL spot... you can't begrudge the 3 teams that did make the UCL. Not looking forward to another diabolical showing in UCL, but hopefully with a fully fit squad and additions of Ederson, a striker and top class centre-half, we should hold our own next season.
Disagree with the sentiment that ADP shouldn't go to America or Middle East. The develop world football nations need to see this guy in action, albeit a slightly older version... he proved this season he still has it and would no doubt be a hit, especially in America.
Re: Serie A Round 38
38 matches unbeaten...incredible. Would never have thought we'd go five in the past few seasons and here is an entire campaign.
Was so emotional watching Del Piero score, be subbed off, do his own lap of honour and then lift the trophy.

Udinese will probably fail to qualify like they did last year and Inler will be laughing once again
to play man city, bayern and chelsea is something Udinese can only dream about
so Inler is the real winner - and to play in a stadium that adores him and that is always full is a big difference to the 20,000 they get at Udine

20000 I think not. More like 16,625 per home matchEl Matador CAVANI wrote:I think it was hilarious watch Inler leave for Napoli thinking he would be playing UCL year in, year out, but instead Udine have qualified ahead of Napoli this season.LFTWNG11 wrote:David Puddy wrote:What a season.

Udinese have been a fairytale side, however they have been relatively strong over the last 10 years so its not that surprising.
They deserve the plaudits, but their qualification is not good for the Italian co-efficient. I am happy for them to prove me wrong next season by at least qualifying for the group stage. If Di Natale does not play next season, where will they pull his 25 goals from that they will miss?
I would have preferred Lazio, Roma or Inter in there
