What is with the semi intelligent comments coming from Gardens this year? Are you and nuggett smoking some good stuff or what?

One might expect that if you forfeit during that round then you ressies also get pulled. The result of any prior match become void.

What a bunch of moaners. There have always been plenty of forfeits in Round 1. Fining clubs for forfeiting is a shocker of an idea, topped only by the idea of deducting league points.

By the way I've heard that ARBE Reserves have forfeited to Stirling. Not sure why? They were drawn at home, its on Saturday not Sunday, and they are mid table in Div 2 v bottom of Div 1.
Stirling District (est 1967) 32 seasons successfully avoiding a Championship then this
1999 Div 2 Champions
2002 Div 2 & 2B
2004 Div 1 & Champion of Champions
2007 Div 1 & 1B
2009 Div 1B

That's right Otto... lets just ignore the fact it happens and put up with it because it happens every year!

Or, maybe the league could look at ways of preventing sides from forfeiting and fix the issue!

If the A's forfeit, and the reserves still want to play, they have to play the A's fixture. Happened with Vikings when we couldn't field a first team.

Westies have a bye.

Rumour is that South Coast United was misprinted and it should have been printed as Westies.

RESERVES Preliminary Cup Round 2012
Saturday 14th April / Sunday 15th April
Kick Off: 12.30 p.m.
(S) Murray Bridge 2 v Strathalbyn 5
Athelstone 1 v Mt Compass 2
(S) St Peters (2) 1 v Munno Para 10
Payneham Postel 5 v Adelaide University Blacks 3
(S) ACU Falcons 0 v San Marco 5
Asia Utd 1 v Plympton 2
(S) USC Lion 0 v Hazara 5
(S) Flinders (2) 1 v South Coast 2
(S) Greenock 2 v Tea Tree Gully 0
Aguila 2 v Blue Nile Eagles 0
Para Hills Lions 3 v One Tree Hill 2
Noarlunga 2 v Bye 0

How is South Coast out then, since they beat Flinders (2), 2-1 in the prelim round?
Just a rumour I heard, dont know if there is any truth in it.

 Nice try to take the underdog tag there Jay. The people picking us on here haven't seen us play at all this season, so not sure how they can rate us so highly.

It will definitely be a tough game (as last year's game was), but as a Division 1 contender surely you would be coming to Marden confident of a win.
No mate. 35 years has apparently been giving away all of our game plans. We're as good as lost

Should be a great game and really looking forward to it.
Not said a word jay :)

No one can actually understand what 35 years is saying, so I wouldn't be too worried about it. :D

See you Sunday!

Hey we did give you the option of playing the game another night, but seemed like you were desperate for the points (being the first to lose to masos proved that), at least we are not being hypocritical our bs were ment to play sunday at home, at the request of the other team we moved it to a saturday to accomodate them..

Why doesn't the league write to all the clubs and ask them if they want to play in the cup..... say call it the 'I Love Football Cup'.... or even better the 'I'm A Real Footballer Cup'? The others could join the 'Forfeit Cup'.... the winner is the last to pull out before KO! lol
