It bothers me that Inter weren't brought to account, yes.

But does it bother me that we were found guilty? No. It bothers me that we were involved in corruption (Lazio-Lecce, ndr). And as I said, the 'punishment' wasn't much of one. We ended up in the CL instead of the UEFA Cup.

Re: institutional corruption in Italy; unfortunately people like Borsellino and Falcone are a serious minority. It is ridiculous to even bring them up in this discussion because football is on a much lesser scale of importance.

Nonetheless, the evidence was presented that Agricola had purchased for Juventus the pharmaceutical stockpile of a "small hospital". The substances used are now on the banned doping list. They can cause serious consequences to players' health. No need to defend what Agricola did.

I am picking on the pharmaceutical debate cause IMO it is an even more serious an offence than what Juve were accused of in calciopoli.

I hope that our two revoked scudetti get re-instated. That about clear it up.

hope and reality are 2 different things.

I hope to win the xlotto, this weekend.
Reality is, I wont!
Wow you can predict the future? If you can couldn't you just pick the correct lotto numbers. If you buy a ticket to the lottery then there is always a chance that you might win, however slim. If Juve keep believing and protesting the right channels who knows we might get them re-instated, that was my point genius. Reality only comes after the numbers are drawn, but who knows if you keep buying that ticket you might win one day.

The irony is, none of the Juve games in 2004-2006 were found to be corrupted, yet Juve were relegated

U draw a very long bow by implying Agricola got acquitted due to a corrupt judiciary when there is ZERO evidence to back up your claim, apart from 'nothing surprises you in Italy'. Sorry, but that isn't could enough and I mentioned those magistrates as an example that there is honour and righteousness in Italy.

So we are agreed that the substances used by Argicola (like Creatine) werent actually banned at the time! Good ...

If they weren't banned, they weren't illegal ..... Agricola broke no laws at the time and the players who took them didn't fail doping tests (bar Davids who self administered steroids ... he claims for his glaucoma).

On the one hand it suits you to condemn Juve based on court convictions, but Juve are acquitted by the courts, 'it must be rigged'. That isn't good enough.

Finally, that Inter can claim a cardboard scudetto and yet be charged with corruption, but escape through a technicality cause the Statute of Limitations has expired is the disgrace, not Juve claiming a scudetto they won on the pitch, coached by Capello, a side everyone knew was the best at the time.

I don't think anyone is surprised by your ignorance on football matters full stop or your belligerent one eyed approach to every debate.

No, they weren't banned substances but using heart medicine on footballers is wrong, unlesss they had open heart surgery! Juve were found guilty and won on appeal, so it wasn't a clean cut case. There's an ethical issue here and let's say in 15 years time, Zidane, Del Piero and Vialli all suffer serious health effects - is that OK in your view because Juve got to win titles?

scipio africanus, you are being childish in not facing the facts.

Juventus were rightly punished for the crimes they committed, all this crap you keep raising is just a smokescreen with which to try and hide the truth.

The owners and board of Juve were caught out and got mildly punished for being involved in corrupt practices - just because others were also involved but got away with it, or got punished less severely, does not allow you to claim innocence.

You did the crime now just accept you were caught up and move on - that is the adult thing to do.

Don't act like a spoilt child by abusing everyone else for correcting you.

Who said anything about innocence? Scipio's main point from what I've read is that all clubs that were implicated and supposedly found guilty did not recieve equal punishments. As a Juve supporter this is my main concern with the calciopoli verdicts as well. Punishments for the same offence which are outlined as law shouldn't be open to gradation, just because Juve finished top does that mean they cheated more so than others?

Significant evidence would be needed to prove this, and that just wasn't provided. So if they are in breach of a sporting article fair enough, but assumptions can't be made into how much influence it had on them finishing top. Finally I have a problem with the way it was handled, more like a witch hunt than a court proceeding, the fact that most of the prosecuting delgates had ties to Inter is all the more disturbing.

So if you wish to make a comment to my post or any other for that matter, please use the facts outlined, don't fabricate your own just because you have a personal issue with Juventus. It doesn't make you seem like you have a clue about anything, just a parrot who repeats every half baked retort that it hears.
