i really enjoyed Holy Wood aswell. I didnt mind him not making the same album as MA. As hes said in interviews, Anti christ superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood were all parts of a three album trilogy. I dont really understand it but stillpaul merson wrote:Anti christ superstar maybe but mechanical animals was average at best, hence why he went back to his old style after that album.maxin in the shade wrote:Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals
Despite what people may think of MM, this was a quality album and one of the most underrated of the 90s IMO.
Certainly inspired by glam rock this has been on heavy rotation the last few weeks.
Fav songs: Great Big White World, Dope Show, Disassociative, Speed Of Pain, New Model, Last Day On Earth, Coma White
In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death is my fav track

merson, you catch J5 at Thebby the other night? If so, how were they?
I didn't bother going because I'm saving my money for the upcoming K Rino tour. I like the old J5 stuff but what I've been told/read about 'Feedback' isn't positive....although you can never rely on other peoples' opinions.

yeh dont mind kool keith.maxin in the shade wrote:you a fan of Kool Keith?paul merson wrote:Jurrasic 5 - feedback
not too bad at all, if you like J5, sounds like most of their stuff which isnt a bad thing in my opinion.
The new J5 album is just very J5. Nothing new so if youre into the old gear give it a listen.
New Rectangle well worth a listen! Kill Steelz is brilliant.

another great album. you gotta love Paris' almost militant attitude on his albumsEMVEE wrote:

am listening to Evanescence right now though. went to the concert last night and though im not a huge fan, i gotta say i was impressed. great sound and Amy Lee has one amazing voice
Yeah, P-Dog has one of the best voices in hip hop in my opinion, and 'Sonic Jihad' is probably my favourite album of the new millenium. Honestly, I thought 'Guerilla Funk' was a huge let down, but all of his others are classics.maxin in the shade wrote:another great album. you gotta love Paris' almost militant attitude on his albumsEMVEE wrote:
