Oh I thought I saw you. You're the one that took a dive to win the penalty. Could have sworn you didn't like diving.

I despise diving, I even did my best to stay upright. Have a chat with your keeper and if he's honest he will tell you the truth.

Are you the large bold headed fellow? If hindmarsh is to far away to watch a game of soccer how do you cope playing and training up there every week? Also this year you have a few games in the western suburbs are you going to show up?

Sounds like our German friends haven't moved on from World War II.

I'm a little surprised at this, in my experience Hahndorf have always been a reasonable bunch of blokes.
Then again it only takes one knob to ruin the vibe at a club.

I never said it was too far away.

However. I give a fuck about Modbury Jets I don't about 2 bob united.

And yes I am very bold.

OISC A's (Div 1)

Great result. Went 1-0 up in the second half from a corner. A header hit the crossbar, then an overhead kick that flew into the top corner from about 10 yards. A few more good chances to OISC that weren't converted, and a nervy final few minutes. BOSA hit the post and had a shot cleared off the line, but as they say, you make your own luck, and OISC deserved the win.

OISC B's (Div 1 reserves)

Didn't see the game as I was refereeing the D grade at the time. A 2-1 win, and by all reports, a great winner, a volley from the edge of the box.

OISC D's (Div 4 Reserves)

Very convincing performance with a 9-3 win. Parafield Gardens didn't turn up until a few minutes before kickoff, and OISC took advantage to go to a 2-0 lead. PG pegged it back to 2-2. Highlight of the game was a free-kick from inside OISC's defensive half that the goalkeeper palmed onto the inside of the bar. The ball hadn't crossed the line, but an OISC player smashed it in from 0.1 metres out. Convincing performance.

OISC E's (Div 6)

BOSA's Div 6 side were by far the better team. Players with far superior technical ability and fitness. It's always going to be a mismatch when it's one sides third best team vs another sides fifth best team. 4-1 down at half time, but a decent enough performance in the second half left the result at 6-1 come full time.

One morons' stupid behaviour should not reflect on the rest of the Hahndorf supporters. They came to our home ground in numbers, supported the bar and supported their team well, even letting go with some friendly banter. I believe that all supporters have the right to do this. Hahndorf is a great club with a proud history. This d**k should not be a reflection on their club, nor should this knob create a negative vibe in the club, as Hahndorf is better than that.
All the best for the rest of the year Hahndorf.

Hey Steve!! They aren't a bad side mate!! This competition is going to be very close and hard to pick winners. Doesn't suprise me that RBE won. They could beat any side in our competition on a good day. Well done on your result by the way. How do you rate Gleeson in comparison to RBE??

Wasn't a very physical game against Gleeson... neither team interested in intimidation etc...
Gleeson lacking the first touch... they made almost every ball into a 50:50 so we were able to get possession back quickly and easily.
Didn't really threaten our goal other than a couple of free kicks about 25m out which went straight to our keeper, and also a goal line scrap after a failed clearance by our defence - Gleeson defender slid in to tap the ball in from 1m but our CB and keeper also slid in so the ball literally didn't move and it was eventually kicked out by the CB who got up on his feet first.
Fitness was also the difference - Gleeson struggled to keep up in the middle and upfront in the second half.

Div 3

A's: ACU Falcons 0 - 5 Flinders (0:3)

B's: ACU Falcons 0 - 6 Flinders (0:0)

Really disappointing for the B's given the half time scoreline and the A's will finally welcome back their first choice keeper for the trip to Strath.....

Urgh, my pride. It hurts so much.

The game went fairly well without incident. I did have to give one penalty, but there were no bookings. The most strenuous task I had to endure though was after the game. I was accosted after the game by a player though who demanded I award him a goal that he shot from inside his own half. I'm sure you'll know who that is, though

How can there be debate over a goal from inside your own half?

It was a free-kick from inside the OISC half, the free-kick taker shot, the goalkeeper parried it onto the crossbar, and another OISC player made sure the ball went over the line.

The debate was over who scored it, the free-kick taker, or the person who made sure the goal went in (whether it went over the goalline before or after the player made sure of it). As the linesman was unsure, and I wasn't in a position to view whether the whole of the ball went over the whole of the line, I awarded the goal to the player who followed up, leading to a large amount of sulking from the free-kick taker during the remainder of the game, and after the final whistle.
