Thought Seaford deserved something out of the game but decisions went against us. I don't like blaming the ref but I'm pretty sure both camps were left scratching their heads at some of the decisons. Great bunch of lads up there. Good luck for the rest of the year boys.

ref had a shocker but in all fairness I think Munno had quite a few chances and did deserve a win, maybe a 3-2 win??

As: Para Hills Lions 2:0 Plympton
Bs: Para Hills Lions 1:5 Plympton

Thought the As controlled the game for most parts, nothing too much to deal with, although Plympton fought hard and had a few chances in the last ten minutes.

Heard South Coast reserves beat Polonia 6-1 and drew 2-2 in the firsts?

Intersting points. Admittedly, Polonia were definately the better side in the first 45 minutes however the 2nd half was a much closer affair. Polonia took the lead twice but some spirited football from South Coast saw them come back and wrestle the game in their favour.
The game could have quite easily gone either way with South Coast having a goal Disallowed in the last 5 minutes (which would have made it 3-2) for what was a very dubious decision from the Polonia Linesman.

All in all, a hard fought game from both sides.

,
i have to say i was actually the player that moved forward to keep the two south cst boys off side... they would have been off by a meter once the ref called it. it was an arm wrestle in the second half , a really hard fought game.

A mate of mine from Polonia was involved in a fairly heavy head clash during the game and he said the South Coast player went to hospital.
Any word on how the other guy is?

The ref had a whole brand new giddy up goin on, also measuring the psi of the match balls with his little contraption, may just have been his first game.......

On the game, Munno Para head plenty of opportunities to score in the first half and should have been over at half time but fair play to seaford going into the break in the lead. Our fist goal was dubious but it was a 50/50 with the keeper and yes he got flattened....... but that fired us up and didnt look back from there except for the minor hiccup of seafords second 8) ....

All in all, good game and seaford played hard and are a great bunch of lads! for southerners

I don't condone any sort of contact with officials, but if he ran the line in the same form as he referreed the reserves last week (if it was the same bloke) he needs to give it away. He doesn't actually know the laws of the game, and it probably causes more arguments per game then it's worth.

Have to agree with a few complaining about the polonia ref / linesman. I don't know if he is blatantly cheating or if he genuinely believes some of the decisions he makes. If a player takes a foul throw it is not a free kick to the other team ( which resulted in a goal ). This happened last year. He is completely laughable. I think a SAASL rep should attend a game he is in charge of.

I'm deffinetly not going to be blatantly biased here, ofcourse like any other ref he makes mistakes...
i have seen plenty A's refs do a much worse job ... the ref in our A's game yesterday was average at best...

i just think sometimes teams get a couple of decisions that dont go their way wether it's right or wrong and it just spirals from there.... anything the ref does from then on he is called a cheat and the whole world is againt them lol

what some peopl forget is that there are two teams on the park and they both get the shit desicions and i think in the end it all evens out (99 percent of the time anyway)... if your playing ok and you beat the opposition nobody cares about what the ref did or didnt do....

Funnily enough..... The 'much older and taller centre half' is only 17years old.
I was the other South Coast player on the pitch that came over.

It all started because the linesman came over and stood over our young winger after the game, when asked by him to 'go away' he refused and stood there and made a few nasty comments, it was at that point our centre half came over and said the same thing.

Lets face it, it was all handbags... frustration took its toll on both South Coast and Polonia.
Once again, 2 good sides that will rattle a few cages.

yes he did ask him to go away, i did hear that... and that's the whole reason i went there is to drag the linesman away coz he should have just bloody walked away but by the time i walked up he had been pushed and then swiped the flag...

lol handbags.. good call....
i agree both teams will stick it up to anyone in the div...
have to say your first goal was a cracker...
