Sturt Marion host MA Hawks this Friday night at the Marion Sports and Community Club. Come and experience the best facilities in the Amateur League, under the recently installed FFSA Standard Floodlights. Enjoy a beer on the balcony and hot food from the BBQ.

Always a great feeling playing at night, a lot of players seem to lift when it comes to night games,probably because we dont play a lot of them. Good luck to both sides.

p.s. probably a silly question but I wonder if either side changed their training nights for this week ?

Sturt Marion would like to welcome everyone to our complex on Friday 4th May

The BBQ and Bar will be going from 6pm.

Come along and grab a steak and salad roll and a can of beer or pre-mix spirts from the guys behind the canteen for only $9.00.

Huge variety of beers and spirits that need to sell.

Presentations will be held upstairs after the A grade game.

Dont forget to come out on Saturday the 5th to watch the c grades battle it out from 11.30

I was chatting to a ref today and he reckons that there will be an official ref for the B-grade game as well as official ref + 2 x linesmen for the A-Grade game .

We train the same nights, as the ladies train other nights. Just a light session tonight, bit on the whiteboard and then upstairs for a meal together.

Gutsy win in the A's 3 forced substitutions through injury meant alot of shuffling in formations and personnel. We went down to 10 men with about 10-15 to go with a fourth injury.

Thanks to MA Hawks who supported the night really well. All hung around after for a drink after aswell with some stumbling out at 1am
