Nothing to do with them both being at Wembley? It's a fucking disgrace we have to play so early.

SETANTA here.

Nothing to do with them both being at Wembley? It's a bottle of shiraz disgrace we have to play so early.

SETANTA here.
Not sure I understand, what does them both being at Wembley have to do with anything? Surely they've put the bindippers on early so they can get back up North in time for their night's robbing?

i thought you meant them playing simultaneously!

TV was the reason and SKY are not happy as our game is on at the same time as City. But police etc didnt want 90k fans drinking all afternoon and then going home late so evening ko was not an option.

Any Liverpool fans on here know why Comolli was axed? Seems a bit of a strange one to me especially as Dalglish says he only bought the players that he himself specifically asked for!

From what I have read, seems as though Comolli is responsible for the ridiculous prices Liverpool have been splashing for slightly above average young English players. KD tells DC to go out and buy Downing and Henderson. DC is the one who makes the call to drop almost 40mil pounds on them. That's just what I have read anyway.

Liverpool's goalkeeping coach, the club's legal team and one of the head medico's have been sacked as well. Looks as though KD is safe for now though.

KD always says positive things towards the club. Ignore what he says about working with DC.

Comolli was a fraud, ask Spurs fans too.

When did the goalkeeper and legal team get fired????

Yeah I read about the head medico going. That surprised me as I thought they had one of the best medical setups there!

That's the gossip on one of the Liverpool supporter forums. Legal team (or the head of the legal team, however it is setup) was sacked because of the Suarez fiasco and the goalkeepeping coach was sacked for being shite.

These two haven't been confirmed by any footballing news outlets.

The Medico bloke had a 2 year contract that finished, he was there to overhaul the medical side of the club, and he did his job.
The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil! :-)

Regardless of whether he comes to Liverpool or not, I would give my left knacker to spend
a couple of hours talking football with him.
I spent hours and hours practicing.....nae.....perfecting the 'Cruyff Turn' back when I was in my bobby dazzlers

Legend of the game.

Don't know who this Carrol is, but he/she could do with watching Andy Carroll if they want to learn to score.

He may have scored but did you see some of the stuff he butchered? And the goal he scored was more about the quality of the ball in, it just hit him on the back of the head

It's a team game, and he has scored the winning goal in the past 2 games. If he scores one more winner an that is at Wembley in a few weeks that'll do me.

Suarez is getting some form, we had our third choice keeper, played the joker at the back to give the blues a chance, had a cb playing left back.....i am so pleased we weren't at full strength, it would have been embarrassing......
