Heard Adelaide Uni is now having a black and grey team both with A and B teams. Don't know if there is any truth to this???
10 teams would be fantastic!
With USC Lion, FC Adelaide and possibly Allstars not playing in their respective divisions, teams will get bumped up from div 3 and 4 so it may not
look like that come kick off.
I can tell you that Allstars will be fielding teams in div 2 this year, even though they dont have a coach.
Caught the train home from town over the weekend and ended up sitting next to their player/coach from last year, who is recovering from a knee injury. He is not coaching, and wants to get his knee right before thinking about playing again.
So with USC Lion now playing Saturday Division 4 we should have 10 teams:
Torrens Valley
Hazara
Flinders University
Greenock
Adelaide University Black
Adelaide University Grey
Northern Pitbulls
Mount Compass
One Tree Hill
USC Lion
I think this season is going to be very interesting as many of these teams are either new or moving up from one team to two. Its going to be very competitive that's for sure and we are looking forward to a year with ten, two team clubs.
One Tree Hill
Northern Pitbulls
Torrens Valley
Adel Uni Black
Adel Uni Grey
Flinders Uni
Greenock
East Adelaide
Mount Compass
and a Cambodian side that play at Parafield Gdns High
Maybe the other two are this East Adelaide and the Cambodian team?
With a 20 game season teams would want to have deep squads.

They finished bottom of Div 3 in 2011 and I cant see the league holding back a Div 4 team to keep Iggies in Div 3 and by my maths that'll make it 12 teams:
ADEL UNI (2)
ADEL UNI (3)
CAMBODIA
EAST ADELAIDE
FLINDERS (2)
GREENOCK
OLD IGNATIANS (2)
MOUNT COMPASS
NORTHERN PITBULLS
ONE TREE HILL
TORRENS VALLEY
USC LION
Earlier posts suggest that Old Ignatians are staying in Division 3 despite finishing in the relegation zone.
Strathalbyn and St Peters have gone up. Flinders Uni finished third and they advised league they didn't want to go up. Fourth was Hazara and I wonder if they've even been asked by the league whether they wanted to go up?
According to a mate who plays for Hahndorf, iggies said at the weekend that they are definitely in div 4 and they spoke to the league about this thread and the league said NICE TRY, You're in div 4.

With the Fixtures up the Division now looks like this:
Torrens Valley
Flinders University (2)
Greenock
Adelaide University Black
Angkor (Is this an Adelaide Uni side in disguise as they are playing at the Uni ground?)
Northern Pitbulls
Mount Compass
One Tree Hill
USC Lion
Old Ignatians
East Adelaide
Parafeild Gardens (2)
So many new teams are going to make it very interesting, especially USC Lion in the mix one wonders how many of their Div 2 players are still playing for them!
Also some real road trips on the cards for all teams!
Good luck to all teams for Season 2012 I know I can't wait!

Flinders (2)
Greenock

One Tree Hill
Old Ignations
Parafield Gardens (2)
Torrens Valley
USC Lion

Can anyone help?

Yeah...don't quote me on that one. Actually think I messed up. Must have been looking at Pitbulls by mistake.
No address listed on the SAASL site and they've only listed their away games Odd

Should be good, no idea of the strength and quality of the other teams, looking forward to it and it could come down to who has least injuries or biggest squad as its gonna be a long season with 22 games!! Bring it on!!!
We're already fllat on our arses with injuries, unluckiest pre-season in living memory! Add to that 2 lads on holidays for cup round and first game we are pretty bare.
It was lovely to see the 4 new lads turn up on Wed. Hope to add them by the first round of league games.

Been good reading on your progress as a club. Hats off to you for the amount of effort you have put in
McLaren Vale are putting two teams in for next season.
The second team is made up of 11 of the Seaford U17 federation team from 2012 and 3 or 4 older ex fed players.
Good luck Div 4. Mt Compass going back to 1 team this season (unless we get a huge influx of players in the next week). We tried what McLarens are doing last season, and it worked to an extent but keeping a whole extra team together is tough.
