I rkn if Fowler was in his prime in this Liverpool side he'd have the league top scorer all wrapped up by now.
Does that mean you've given up defending the hapless Carroll?
I’ll always defend player(s) who appear to give a toss.
Hypothetically, even if Carroll was par his 2010 Newcastle form we'd still need more striking options.
Even if Carroll stays or not Liverpool will be the market for a striker.

Arsenal isn't a one man team. They've got their first choice back line all back from injury and playing together, and Song and Rosicky are finding form.
Conversely, Liverpool are missing Lucas, Agger has been in and out for a month with injury now, and need another forward.

at one man team in arsenal you obviously dont watch us enough to have that assumption! Rvp scores goals that's what he employed to do, not once this season have I seen him collect the ball in our half go past 6 players and score. Yes he got us thru some tough times but no way compare us to the pool let alone call us one man team

Bet you were one of those calling Liverpool a 2 man team when Gerrard and Torres were on fire though.

Did you recently graduate from the El Diaz/DMT school of daftness, receiving honours in woooosh?
Even with my sarcasm detector out for repairs I’m pretty sure that post was pro-Arsenal anti-Liverpool. I’d say he’s one of yours…..
What does it matter if you’re overly reliant on 1 player anyway? What’s so taboo about that? I’d rather be successful and reliant one 1 or 2 players than everyone being equal and languishing. Even with the reddest of tint you’ll have to agree that RVP carried the side for most of the season. There were lots of games, particularly last year, where Arsenal deserved nothing on general play only for RVP to pop up against the run and take some points. That is a textbook “1 man team”. But big deal, that’s why he’s captain, that’s why he’s paid the most money (if he’s not, something’s wrong!) and that’s why he’ll have most big clubs around Europe trying to sign him.

He nearly got sent off as well.

Yeah I'm pretty worried about the semi with him as 'keeper tbh. But it was still a fantastic moment for him against Blackburn. One of the best things I've seen in football after what he went through with his son.

Just realised it was his first game back since his son died, Amazing that anyone could make that return to top flight football after losing their 5 year old to cancer.
Now i realise why he was pointing up after saving the pen.
In light of all that i think he'll be alot better in the games ahead, probably just very emotional.
Jones looked quite nervous and rightly so as it was his first Liverpool game. Very happy for him with that save! Good to see Carroll score too. That late goal will do wonders for our morale and confidence especially with 10 men. Henderson stood up today when we needed him at right back as well. Only worry is that jones is extremely one footed. Moyes would definitely take note of that.

Yep. Like I said, one of the greatest things I've seen. Inspirational.

Great to see Brad Jones get some game time. If im correct he will also play the FA Cup match vs Everton as Reina has 1 more match to serve and Doni is now suspended too. Two Aussies to take the field in the merseyside semi final!

I think it's exclusive to Setanta. I think the Spurs game is an evening KO at 6pm so I assume the Pool one is too. Pain in the arse of a time.

Liverpool vs everton is at 1230 actually. Which is 9 pm here? Well according to the fa cup site.
You're right, they are at different times, I guess it's to do with the travelling. I also noticed that your game is being shown on ESPN in England so it might be on here as well.

In other news, I see Comolli's been pushed / jumped from the sinking ship
