Round 13-17. We have the bye 9 and 18.
If anything it'd prob suit us to have the ten team league.

I think it's great to have 2 weekends off, to head up the coast. It's a long season!!

It's a short season! It's only 18 weeks plus cup (if you make finals)... you get a weekend off every month or so if you get knocked out of the cup semi early!

Well the question I have to raise is this: why are we paying SAASL for an 18-round season when we're only going to get 16?

Either reduce the fees or make it 10 teams.

Personally I'm disappointed with USC Lion (who now have enough players), Allstars (who probably knew weeks ago they weren't going to have enough players), and Flinders (who apparently refused to go up due to being worried about being thumped - what happens if they win Div 3 and are then forced up in 2013? )

If that is the case then they should play 3 rounds ! I feel for the clubs who have the bye before or after a Cup Round,no game for 3 weeks .

( presuming they are knocked out of the cup )

Had a quick look... They have 10 teams in all 4 of their Divisions as well as their B team divisions.... Funny how that works innit!

Why don't you force the league to reinstate USC to Div 2. If they have 2 teams they have a responsibility to play Div 2 and not go hide to "rebuild" in Div 4. Otherwise what stops other clubs from going to the league and saying, "Geez we've lost a few players and need to go down 2 divisions to rebuild". Players come and go and clubs need to deal with it, even if it hurts on the scoreline in the short term.

The consensus amongst forumites is that if you want things changed, you need not ask, there is no sympathy for you if you want something changed with your fixtures... so play or if you dont want to play forfeit.

The reason for a forum is to discuss issues and perhaps raise awareness, this is what we have done.

We have put forward our case to the SAASL (if you read the whole thread you would have realised this) and are awaiting
an outcome, your post made it seem like a decision was reached so I was after clarification...Pretty simple really. Where have we asked for sympathy?????? :?

SAASL who have can't organise 10 club leagues, referee's tops, referees or fixtures that don't clash with every religous holiday ever versus the FFSA who can't see past the end of their nose, have vertigo from sitting on their high horse and have systematically divided SOuth Australian soccer to a point where we have peanuts arguing about amateur league or amateurs league...... You sir have created this mess, created these peanuts and both groups have a case to answer...
Having played in both leagues, they both have merits and drawbacks....... should be about the game though not whose gang is better than anothers
