The tables have now turned and it is KK and LFC trying to catch SAF and MUFC. SAF was given 6yrs before he acheived his goal.
While Kenny has spent money on players where he shouldn't have he did take over a squad where the best striker wanted to leave and there were left overs from someone elses poor choices. He has won 1 posibly two trophies in his first full season in charge while still trying to correct the mistakes of Roy Hodgson.
2012/13 will be the time to properly analyse LFC under KK. Can he find the next Stevie G? Can he either get the best out of Carroll or will he be able to bring in the striker to replace Torres properly? Can he find a suitable back up/partner for a fit again Lucas? Can he finally solve our right sided problem?
Personally i think he can and will. Will we win the league next year? most likely not.
Will we improve on this year? i think that's a certainty.
Keep knocking us, as history will show we have been at our very best when our back is against the wall. YNWA
Very well written and a very coherent balanced argument until the last sentence. Whilst I agree that the Liverpool team of the 70s and 80s may have been good with backs against the wall, the last twenty years - with one exception in Istanbul - have crumbled when the chips have been down and have just not been good enough to be compared to that standard.
The basics are the players and tactics have just not been good enough. United (among others) have put in the hard work and adpated and evolved and not lived on their laurels.
Kop, your a laugh. Have yet to see RVP save an attempt on goal, roll the ball out to himself & then take on 11 opposition players to score. Teamwork has had a big say in his goalscoring feats. Obviously Arsene pays RVP to score goals which he does very well, what does Kenny pay his strikers to do?

I don't see Fergie wondering onto the pitch like a senile old man... Even Gerrard told Kenny to piss off.
It takes Fergie 5 minutes just to get up off his seat these days............unless he sees United get a poor refereeing decision which is as rare as hen's teeth these days.

You never seen him celebrate every goal United score then? And while were at it Bomber, you've been pretty quiet recently on who is the best team in Manchester! Changed your mind on the matter somewhat?
Bomber wrote:At the moment, it's united but they still need to recover that 1-6 loss to their neighbours in their upcoming fixture to remove all doubt.
What do you mean? To remove all doubt they need to win the league, simple as that

They need to win the league 18 more times...
Wait, so where applicable it's OK to live in the past?

Ican't believe you said that Old Redback I'm impressed, it must of been hard for you.
Just listening to his comments about the Villa game and I honestly think he's losing the plot. Compare his interview to that of Roberto Martinez.
I really thought he'd still be there next year, but now I'm not so sure.

What did he say that was off the mark?
He's suffering from complete paranoia. It's everyone else's fault apart from his and he expects every marginal decision to go Liverpool's way. Everybody's ganging up against Liverpool. Sorry, but it smacks of a bloke under serious pressure and I wonder now if he can actually handle it without going off the rails.

Now that Manchester united has won the title. The only excitement in epl is to see Liverpool lost every matches they play. To see how frustrated and pissed off KK is one of the enjoyment.
Hopefully arsenal will keep their winning streak and overtake man sh1tty as well for the 2nd spot
Kenny Dalglish goes in to church for confession
"Father forgive me for I have sinned"
The priest puts out his hand and says..."come forth my child"
Dalglish replies.."come forth?? We'll be lucky if we come bloody tenth!!"

Are you kidding me?
You obv haven't seen any of our recent games.
Assuming 50/50 decisions are really that, 50/50. Then work out the percentage that 9 out 10 go against you......
Like that's not enough, you see ridiculous prejudicial refereering like booking Suarez for diving when Ireland clearly stepped on his foot and gave him an apologetic gesture instead of the usual waving up anger.
Not based on my team, but it would be silly to completely rule out corruption in the EPL.
