Meeting to be held Thursday???? Mmmmmhhhhhh ... that doesn't sound good.

Looks like we could be set for more changes, when stability at this point of the year is required now more than ever.

100% agree with this.

Other teams that will compete for the title have had months to recruit / prepare.

But - all in all - these teams would've probably been the ones to make the step up in 2013 anyway...this will be a good year to help them prepare.

In a normal world / league, Knights would've been promoted by finishing 2nd last year anyway, and Toros would've probably pushed for promotion this year. Flinders are a good catchment club for those that would've left South Adelaide and didn't make the Cumby set up.

We now have representation well spread geographically, would've thought this a good thing:

Metro: Adelaide City, Uni
East: Metro, Knights
South: Cumby, Flinders, Sturt
West: Fulham, Toros

If they had the teams lined up what are they waiting for?
Is this a ceremony like ECL draw or something?
Incidently, where do you guys get this info from?

Any one have an update of what happend?
Is there a team going up into the reserves?
The goalkeeper is the jewel in the crown and getting at him should be almost impossible. It's the biggest sin in football to make him do any work.

Didn't Stirling finish top of division 1 last year? If that's the case, why didn't they move into reserves league?

I just thought it rather silly to propose that a Div 2 side- a social side comprised of women who may train once a week and may not and are just out for a good kick around should be promoted to the Reserves competition (and by definition some of those players would support the Prems), that's all. The suggestion either wasn't thought through or reflects a poor understanding of the differences in standard between those two Leagues. LIke I said, nothing personal.

I was at the Cumberland V Sturt Marion game on Sunday and there is no way the Sturt team could go up into reserves. If you say that then you may as well put Cumberland up as well who beat them.

Well, so much for anonymity! :) But my comments had nothing to do with any knowledge from that source. Just common sense if one spends any time watching women's football.
