Just watched it again (sucker for punishment), can anyone explain why Szczesny didn't even get a booking for the foul on Bale?
Contact was made by Gibbs first Cyril so I would say that saved szczesny.
Harry should coach the GB diving team at the London Olympics so he can take Bale all the way to gold great diver the Welshman[/quote]
Does tend to fall over rather easily but it was Szczesny that actually brought him down. Talking about Gibbs, did you see his attempt to con a penalty in the first half? Very theatrical.
Not something I like to see I'm afraid, but when you see some of the things that don't get given, you can almost sympathise with the players.

I really think with proper evidence and punishment, alot of that crap would be taken out of the game.
Bale is such a cheating bastard.
He's by a long way the worst culprit in the league. But he lays turds made of gold the media aren’t interesting in touching any negative story about him.
Pathetic on so many counts really……

LOL, the anti-Bale complex is growing by the day.

Of course Suarez wouldn't dream of falling over a keepers outstretched limb now would he?
Let's see if you spotted it through your red-tinted glasses

For sure they did NOC. But like yourself. No admittance to your player being a diving prat will be made.

I have no problem admitting that Bale dives, I don't like it and would never condone it. Sadly, it's part of the modern game and fast moving players like Bale, Suarez and Walcott (yes, he dives as well), either anticipate or feel the slightest of contact and, whoops, they're on the deck.

OMG, 60/40 possession, 22 shots to 9, 8 corners to 0, away from home.
Should have romped the game but end up losing 1 nothing.
Thoroughly pissed off and not wanting to bump into any Gooners
Unless I'm in the car

That's what has been happening to Chelsea all season, I've learnt it's our own fault, hopefully you will too
It's not me that needs the lesson, it's Harry. We have hardly ever played well without Modric in the middle and Bale on the left so, what does he do, puts Modders out of the game on the left and Bale on the right? It's very difficult and frustrating for a fan to understand. At least he made the right substitutions and, for most of the second half, put the players back where they belong but, by that time, the Everton bus was firmly parked.

How would you think we were lucky? Friedel didn't touch the ball in the first half, but that's the way it goes sometimes. We've pumped Everton and Stoke for most of both games and got one point, that's football.
Long way to go.

I still think spurs will finish 5th but there's so much football to be played and so much has happened you can't rule out more happening either. 3rd certainly isn't locked in yet Arsene and the boys know this!

That's fair enough. I've been having my fun for the last few months so I suppose I have to grin and bear it while you two clowns wind me up
Wouldn't laugh too much though, you've got some sticky fixtures coming up and it would only take RvP to break down and you'd be back with Liverpool (fingers crossed)

Well.......
More points dropped or fair to say shared points the right result last night.?
Looked like neither team wanted to make a mistake, hence this game being very dull. Spurs look a shadow of themselves 3months ago. Scared to attack and have lost the signature speed in which they did this so.
Is the arry rumours getting to the players that he has pretty much decided to take the national job???????

Although he says not, you'd have to wonder if all the talk has had something to do with it, but maybe it's just a bit of tiredness, mentally more than physically. They're not used to being at such lofty heights.
As for the Chelsea game, boring first half and decent second. Probably just about the right result although Spurs probably will feel they should have nicked it. I can't remember Friedel making a save of any note (he was about 3 yards away from the one that hit the post) whereas more luck or better finishing and Spurs would have won.
I'd have happily accepted this position at the beginning of the season, only 3 points behind third and with, on paper, a far easier run in, it should go down to the wire. Looks like RvP might actually go through a whole season - nothing short of a modern miracle.
