Its very strange that two Div.2 Clubs are pulling out of the Division, you would think that Div.2 Clubs would be alot stronger than Clubs in lower Divisions but that's Not the case

We have had a few leave...but certianly the inbound (quality) heavly outweighs the outbound.

Need to throw some quality soccer brains amongst a group of players that ground out results mainly due to putting their heart and sole into it.

A mix of the two hopefully brews a cocktail of success we hope

Regardless of that, who gives a rats TBH.......gonna be a fantastic year just having their off field drinking experience amongst our current crop of C grade Aclo's. Should be a fun year again

Didnt USC have issues for a number of years? isnt that why they moved from Sunday to Saturday......and then landed straight in Div 2 (instead of working through the Sat ranks). Sorry if im wrong just going on what i have heard over the years.

Im sure USC will come back stronger in years to come.

Unfortunately this will come to ahead wether its this year or in the coming years

My source tells me that the club had an oppurtunity to rebuild and start from scratch

However this has not been the first time. I 'm told there was a meeting held an was all positive

and later there people that had a change of heart.

There has been whispers of some behaviour which goes against the running of a amature soocer club

If that is the case thats unfortunate

The lads that have come across from Lion to the Cougars are great blokes and great players. We consider them Cougars now!!! They have strengthened our squad dramatically, as well as our food and beverage takings It has been a pleasure and we are really happy that they have picked our club.... thanks to Lionman and crew.

Their contribution has been amazing on and off the field... tbh, this year is the finest we have looked on the pitch... the new boys have added size, skill and experience to our squad. In the past, we have relied more on heart, physicality to grind out results. This year the squad can offer more, so if we gel, we can suprise some teams. As for off the pitch, our club has always been fantastic... but now it is A+!!! If you have affiliation with the lads that have come across and you want to catch up, our bar and food facilities run every thursday night!! Be nice to meet you.

The Cougar boys have been very very well organised and a fantastic bunch of lads to be involved with. As a Cougar player or an opposition player, they have all been made to feel 100 % welcome on and off the park. That's been the major reason why these boys have come over. Sad to see they couldn't get it to work at Lion for whatever reason but i'm sure Lion will survive at some level.

As for Cougars and 2012, it should be another great year with another group of fantastic blokes coming in to strengthen up the A's intern B's. The C's are looking like another solid unit and should be very competitive again this year. Well done to all the Boys down there from Daniel down, as to run a club as well as they do, you need to be commended for it boys.

Well done for putting past demons behind you and now look at solidifying the quality of people around you and look at taking the next step.
