The FFSA would like to think they can stop it but in all reality if the SAASL register him then FFSA can't do jack.what a goal wrote:Is this legal? Or does the FFSA not allow it?

Name one Super League Club that would allow this? The football world is way too small to fly under the radar.what a goal wrote:I'm confused to whether a fine or sanction will be given to the respective clubs, if this situation did occur?
If a player played on a Saturday for a Super League team and on a Sunday they played for a Sunday league team. Is it possible or will there be penalties?

saasl (if they found out) would presumably treat him as an unregistered player and (again presumably) dock points for those games.
Adelaide's a small place, it would probably get noticed. It has in the past.OldRedback wrote:I question how enforceable this is after all there is nothing to say this is an offence punishable by death. If the two clubs don't mind then surely there is nothing the governing bodies can do about it?

Then it's punishable by loss of points for playing an unregistered player. I think Doc said earlier that this has already happened.
The governing bodies can and should not allow that player to be registered.OldRedback wrote:I question how enforceable this is after all there is nothing to say this is an offence punishable by death. If the two clubs don't mind then surely there is nothing the governing bodies can do about it?
What if you registered as Jay Slowly Running with one body and Jay Getting a Little Bit quicker now with the other. How would they know?Jay Slowly Running wrote:The governing bodies can and should not allow that player to be registered.OldRedback wrote:I question how enforceable this is after all there is nothing to say this is an offence punishable by death. card checks, player knowledge, etc etc, its adelaide, everyone knows everyone, happens every year though, mainly clubs struggling with relegationGod is an Englishman wrote:What if you registered as Jay Slowly Running with one body and Jay Getting a Little Bit quicker now with the other. or if I registered as GIAE for a saturday side and Hawkesy for a sunday side. If no one told them, how would they ever find out?
card check wouldn't matter because I would have a card with a name on it that would correspond to the name on the team sheet. The only way would be someone recognising me and as you said - it's adelaide.DOC wrote:card checks, player knowledge, etc etc, its adelaide, everyone knows everyone, happens every year though, mainly clubs struggling with relegation
but with you im sure people wouldn't mind as then they get to kick lumps out of you on a saturday and a sundayGod is an Englishman wrote:card check wouldn't matter because I would have a card with a name on it that would correspond to the name on the team sheet. thats cos you couldn't last the distance matebloodypassit wrote:dont worry GIAE .... DOC started on the bench last year when we played him and came on when I was off.....lol
Take a photo of Jay Slowly Running playing with the FFSA and one with Jay Getting a Little Bit quicker in the SAASL. Its unfortunate but clubs are the ones who need to keep an eye on other clubs. There is no alternative at the moment. I guess in the lower leagues you might be able to get away with it but most Sat & Sun Div 2 sides would know who is who.God is an Englishman wrote:What if you registered as Jay Slowly Running with one body and Jay Getting a Little Bit quicker now with the other.
