the loss of gretna, that was for the good of scottish football tooVista_Bhoy wrote:It's for the 'Good of scottish football' to allow one team to spend money they have no intention of paying back. Once that revenue stream ran dry they started bumping their tax to pay wages for players they could not legitimately afford. That must have been in the interest of Scottish football.
Celtic managers lost their jobs because the huns won titles paid for by other people's money over the last 2 decades. Celtic players were moved on. That must have been in the best interests of Scottish football as well.
Aberdeen, Hearts, Dundee Utd, Dundee and Celtic (and probalby others i can't remember) all lost cup finals to them with players paid for by other people's money. Again, i can only assume that was in the wider interest of Scottish football.
Clubs were relegated and put into administration as a result. I can only assume it was part of a wider plan to improve Scottish football.

even celtic realise that, that's why they have said they would vote rangers 2012 straight back into the spl.
Celtic football club clearly understand, just a pity their "fans" don't get it.
To Celtic maybe, some of the smaller SPL teams might have a different point of view.DOC wrote:You do realize the spl tv is worth stuff alldfkjs wrote:do you realise the TV deal that keeps the SPL alive is dependent on Rangers being a going concern?

80 mil gbp for five years, and a stipulation of at least 4 old firm games because they are the only matches that make the league look healthily supported at the gates.DOC wrote:You do realize the spl tv is worth stuff alldfkjs wrote:do you realise the TV deal that keeps the SPL alive is dependent on Rangers being a going concern?

Well considering rangers owe numerous clubs ticketing money I think they are more concerned about thisNice One Cyril wrote:To Celtic maybe, some of the smaller SPL teams might have a different point of view.DOC wrote:You do realize the spl tv is worth stuff alldfkjs wrote:do you realise the TV deal that keeps the SPL alive is dependent on Rangers being a going concern?

Once again, so many posts in the name of Rangers from you both reeks of insecurity.
