but the books detailing the dodgy wages will come to light just like melbourne storm, which sets a precedent for taking away trophies

we all expected rangers to try every legal avenue, wouldn't you?

also a bit ironic that rangers are now fighting the crown

More ironic is you lot now loving the crown. I love the crown as well, but I still use every legal avenue to avoid paying tax.

Yeah, they'll probably steal the Fields of Athenry off us now!

I love how Whyte sold off Arsenal shares, donated to the loyal bears in blue, all to raise 200k. Something that had been on dispaly for years at Mordor. What next? Sell the tainted silverware?

As you said Doc, the huns are f**ked either way you look at it. Financial doping over the years has finally caught up with them. Their club, management and supporters weren't calling for us to be saved for the "good of Scottish football" when we were 9 minutes away from being closed down in 1993 before Fergus McCann came to our rescue. They had their boots on our throat by paying well beyond their means for players mentioned earlier in this thread, with no regard for the "good of Scottish football" and no regard for the taxation laws of the land. "Our day HAS come" and I for one am loving it.

It's for the 'Good of scottish football' to allow one team to spend money they have no intention of paying back. This allowed them to buy better players than they could legitimately afford. That must have been in the "good of Scottish football"

Once that revenue stream ran dry they started bumping their tax to pay wages for players they could not legitimately afford. That must have been in the interest of Scottish football.

Celtic managers lost their jobs because the huns won titles paid for by other people's money over the last 2 decades. Celtic players were moved on. That must have been in the best interests of Scottish football as well.

Aberdeen, Hearts, Dundee Utd, Dundee and Celtic (and probalby others i can't remember) all lost cup finals to them with players paid for by other people's money. Again, i can only assume that was in the wider interest of Scottish football.

Clubs were relegated and put into administration as a result. I can only assume it was part of a wider plan to improve Scottish football.

do you realise the TV deal that keeps the SPL alive is dependent on Rangers being a going concern?

no Rangers, no SPL even if Celtic can afford to pay the bills via their own enterprises. careful what you wish for.

still you lot don't get it, the money they borrowed was on the advice of tax accountants and lawyers. All the debt could still be wiped out if they win the court case.

even celtic realise that, that's why they have said they would vote rangers 2012 straight back into the spl.
Celtic football club clearly understand, just a pity their "fans" don't get it.

To Celtic maybe, some of the smaller SPL teams might have a different point of view.

80 mil gbp for five years, and a stipulation of at least 4 old firm games because they are the only matches that make the league look healthily supported at the gates.

Well considering rangers owe numerous clubs ticketing money I think they are more concerned about this

With nearly 90 comments in this subject between Yogi and DOC I tend to think these guys have an unhealthy fixation with Rangers misfortune - added to that they are both very, very boring.
