My guess is that he has now had a taste of the Downs hoof it long and chase it down style of play and realised he's gonna have to run all day to be effective. Not sure that he's currently fit enough to play that way. Any half decent team will simply play him high up the park and make him run. For sure, from a class aspect he's from the top draw and if he gets the ball anywhere near the box he's going to punish you, but if he has to run from the half way line to get to the box he will not be anywhere near as effective. Unless of course he's putting in the hard yards on the training track - then watch out.
