True but 2 wins in a row has really revived our serie a campaign.

Hopefully the results keep coming and teams above keep dropping points. I think we may just make a late run into the top 4 and have a red hot go at 3rd position.

Meanwhile can't wait for Wednesday morning! Think we're more than capable of winning the home match and hopefully keeping a clean sheet.

im dreaming however. Cant see us beating you away but would be happy with a draw, preferably one we score in

our lineup will be (unless AVB fucks us again)

Mata-Drogba-Sturridge
Lampard-Essien-Ramires
Cole-Terry(if fit)-Luiz-Ivanovic

really need Terry to play or i fear AVB will play Ivanovic and Luiz in the centre with Bosingwa on the right (FML)

I actually thought the game as a spectacle was great. 4 goals, 20 odd shots, missed chances and the crowd - wow!!

I thought Gary Neville was a pretty good commentator, and he was rightly praising Cavani and Lavezzi all night.

Napoli should of won 5 nil. If the game takes the same pattern in England, Napoli should get through quite easily.

"Chelsea are better than this team."

Fantastic impartial commentary.

Credit to Napoli, they took advantage of their chances and recovered well after that Cannavaro moment.

shocking defending by both sides, leads to a Napoli win!

Lavezzi is a freak, he just scores for the fun of it!
Cavani is all class, if he isnt snapped up by a high paying euro team before start of next season, i will be surprised tbh!

great win by the partenopei, but the commentator with Martin, was pathetic.
Constanly rubbishing Napoli and praising chelsea........ dissapointing tbh!

MAggio should of made it 4, But Lavezzis miss cost us as well.

lets just hope Aronica or Cannavarro gets injured before the chelsea game in london, their defending makes me anxious....

well when he doesnt play the strongest team available questions have to be asked about our coach

but to say you should of won 5-0 is a joke, so every clear cut chance u had should of gone in, never happens ever

Mata goal, Ramires shot, Luiz header. So 5-3 is the score it should of been

plz, Terry injured, the other 3-4 players u had on the bench, is cos they were playing crap!

now, u want to attack AVB, who won the europa cup with an average Porto side???
the fact is, chelsea have too many old farts in the team, and not enough young talent coming through.
our back 3 are all over 32 years old, and tyet u couldnt even fathom a chance on goal, without a nice deflection from our captain...
Money doesnt always buy u sucess...

Ramires shot  straight to keeper
Luiz header  over the bar

Cech had to make 2 saves, 1 to cavani and the other to Maggio
then we had the Lavezzi shot just wide, and a goal line clearance from cashley.....

ur clutching at straws if u honestly do not think Napoli should not of scored 5!

our defence was shit, and yet u Only managed 1 goal..... thats embaressing

Ramires's shot and Luiz's header were not clear cut. :clown:

Cech made two world class saves, Cole literally saved a goal off the line. If they scored all 3, it would of been 6. Napoli had other chances that were not clear cut. 5 is being realistic.

Glory hunting Chelsea supporters never cease to amaze. Next you will say "but Torres didn't play"...

Umm you do realise, I fucking hate Napoli? I only hate riomma and Manchester United more. I don't support them at all, in fact I wouldn't piss on the San Paolo if it was on fire. But they did make Chelsea look second rate, even with their poor defending.

If you think Napoli couldn't have easily made it 5-1, then you are delusional. AVB should be thanking his lucky stars it wasn't 5, because he would of got sacked before the final whistle. Leaving a 50mil pound striker on the bench against a team that plays 3 at the back? LOL.

it was the correct decision to start Drogba who had a good Africa's cup of nations (besides the penalty)

will be an interesting second leg, hopefully we can sort out our defensive issues in 3 weeks time

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis assures a new stadium will help keep Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani at the club.

The patron and Hollywood mogul presented plans to build a new arena to replace the Stadio San Paolo.

It will take four years to complete the work in the Ponticelli area of Naples.

“Walter Mazzarri has a year left on his contract and he will stay,” De Laurentiis told Radio Deejay ahead of tonight’s match with Inter.

“The same goes for Cavani, that is absolutely not up for debate, while we are discussing the renewal with Marek Hamsik.

“As for Lavezzi, he is our symbol. His agent has assured me that he is not going anywhere. As long as the situation doesn’t become a farce, then he will stay.

“I’d also like to make it clear that Napoli do not force anyone to stay against their will.”

Any new stadium better not have a running track.

I've read somewhere that De Laurentiis plans to keep it as is, but just give it a face lift, as his main plans involve developing the area around the stadium. Hope this is not true. We need a stadium like Juve's.
