Any news on the "pre season comp" that was supposed to be run thru the month of Feb ?

struggling to form a league it seems, let alone a pre season comp!

Never heard anything about a preseason comp. Only possibly a tournament on the March long weekend. Most teams are just getting back to training after the hols...it will probably fall to individual clubs to organize their own friendlies over the coming weeks. Season set to start on the 25th.

Forms were sent out asking for teams interested in participating, well, more of a questionaire, but since then, no news. But ofcourse I'm thinking......"come on, they'll get this up and running" ........... because I gotta believe they will DO IT RIGHT EVENTUALLY but I need to make a decision, wait for them to GET OFF THEIR ARSE or get on with it myself and organise friendlies.

So has no-one out there heard of this ???

The last bit of info on this was communicated by FFSA on the 18th of Jan, they are still looking into it and have 14 teams interested over Div 1 - 5.

I'm sure we will hear something more on it soon.

If you hadn't heard anything about it you should speak to your club delegate, all information has been made available to clubs through your nominated contact.

Raiders have definently dropped out of group 1. Metro into group 1, must've been added late, there was originally a bye in that group

We played the first round, our game for the 2nd round was not played due to lack of numbers from the other team, 3rd round cancelled due to heat.

Not the greatest start we've had so far.
