Its only a pre season cup and you must have done well to beat them.
Who really cares..... Just take the win and move on.
Im sure the farm players and coaches (not robbo) wont really read too much into this result.
Agreed. Hearing all Robbo's excuses is what bothered me.

FYI:

3 laps, each in different groups. Then two small games.

Plus we got there first.

Opportunistic? No. Coincidence? Perhaps.

Congrats on the win - was a weird and frenetic game to watch.

All bullshit aside, after spending a season in Div 2 it was good to play a good side again.

All the best to Ingle Farm in their league this year.

Gardens looked good but villa found their feet in the second half which was more even

Farm looked shaky but were missing a couple plus only had a few sessions together, Uni were the dark horse as no one knew what to expect but showed a bit and should do well in div 1
Despite the fact that they all came out to our training session to watch us the Thursday night before?
I meant as a team in this comp dude chilllout

Oh Dear.

If it makes you Uni guys feel better you can come out and train with us one night.

In all seriousness, aside from Barry, we wouldn't have a clue who any of your players are. Not only that, Simo doesn't need to spy on DB's training drills, you do you think taught Simo?

Well done to Uni, from all reports, they deserved the win. We don't have a good record against Sat Div 2 sides atm

It's not a secret, in fact it is in plain sight, it's part of our training grounds.

It certainly makes a difference to the last couple of times we played against you guys in pre-season when you pretty much put cricket scores past us.

Evidence Brian? Or your just jumping on the silly season bandwagon?

Maybe you should collect cans & help fund some of these so called stars you went on about, I didn't happen to see them play Wednesday.. Obviously a load of shite just like above :clown:

Banding with the classy fellow above I see. All you ferals stick together don't you?

I feel the need to clarify as you all seem to have completely missed my point. I couldn't care less that they used the loop (hundreds of people do every night, along with plenty of other soccer teams) or that they watched us play an internal trial. My issue is solely with the excuses 'Oh we have only been training for a few sessions, oh we didn't have all our players available, oh we trained the night before, oh we weren't taking it seriously'. Boo hoo! I merely pointed out that we too trained the night before, we too have only been training a short time, we too had key players missing, and we didn't have that added advantage of having watched your opposition train in the lead up to the match. I was over hearing it. I do think it is a bit dodgy to watch your opposition train like that (kind of an unwritten amateur rule in my opinion), but I don't particularly care. Feel free to use the loop whenever you want. Take responsibility for the loss and stop making excuses and then attacking us. I realise the excuses only really came from Robbo, but all you other blokes seem to want to put your two bobs worth in.

Seriously nugget, just leave it alone.
I'm sure the gardens players don't need you coming on here giving them & the club a bad name.
There's really no need.
