MJAFC Leo, and it looks like Mr. Pedantic is trying to lead us onto a wordplay carousel again. & I'm not playing!! If not, Hawkesy, it was the CC I was referring to, I don't actually see much difference in what the two roles would entail at our club. Just people calling the same job a different name. (We have a former club member on this thread that obviously thinks the same as me too.)

I just think Director of Football sounds fucking poncey, that name implies so much more. I don't even think proffessional clubs need this role. The role was just invented so that they didn't have to sack managers.
