Couldn't you slowly level it out with clean fill from pool installations ?

I suggested that, but was turned away by local council. Even offered to compact it free of charge...

Tea Tree Gullys grounds are looking good, TTG council spends a lot of time looking after those grounds. What about some of the other grounds played on during 2011????

I have heard from some of the lads I play cricket with that the Gardens ground was pretty much hacked back to dirt... it was even reported to the Para Districts Cricket Association as being 'unsafe for play'. I have no idea how bad it really is as I havent been there myself. Hopefully the council know what theyre doing and the ground has time to recover....

Why would we give up the greatest home ground advantage in the league. I want the slope to stay!!!

Our pitch is looking better and better. It should hold together the better this year than any previous year.

Surface is quite good still bit bumpy but hasn't been rolled yet. Always starts off as a quality pitch but the traffic it gets cant handle it, no pitch could :(

Argana Park is pretty good at the moment. Few patches which need extra watering, but at the end of this hot spell I think it will be OK.

I've seen quite a few grounds that are still showing damage from those idiot linesmen skipping along the lines.

Why can't they use their tiny little brains and go back to changing ends and limit the damage?

It's OK for higher grades where the pitch is only used for matches one day a week but the suburban grounds get used far more frequently.
The older I get the better I was.
