Dunno about proper, but Red-4-Life did. It's in El Capitano's sig.NickyTanner wrote:What proper liverpool fan said they would win it this year?

I don't think we are out of it yet, if every other team draws the next 10 games and we win them then it is pretty much in the bag.BowTiesAreCool wrote:Dunno about proper, but Red-4-Life did. It's in El Capitano's sig.NickyTanner wrote:What proper liverpool fan said they would win it this year?

Oh, the youngsters of today. Talk to older Manure fans and remind them how they used to do similar in the 70's and 80's. It took them 26 years (between 66/67 and 92/93 seasons) before they won their next league.dudley wrote:Robbie slater said they would win it this year.
Every year liverpool supporters talk it up every season, then every season they lose to teams like bolton or wigan at home!!!!
end of the day 22 years and counting....TICK TICK

Liverpool should really be thanking the FA. Banning Suarez gave them their first "legitimate" reason for failing in years.dudley wrote:Robbie slater said they would win it this year.

Tongue in cheek, no need to pick holes.Del Boca Vista wrote:so u started following football after H&G....El Capitano wrote:

Admission of what? You even had to blank out my quote. I have only stated facts on this thread.El Capitano wrote:Finally an admission... Wasn't so hard was it?Bomber wrote:...
Your right, I'll try againDel Boca Vista wrote:nobody is picking holes, i think anyone can see that regime knocked Liverpool down a few pegs... a pretty "legitimate" reason to struggle
Your post stated United fans used to do similar eons ago....Bomber wrote: Admission of what? You even had to blank out my quote. I have only stated facts on this thread.
That they did. They were always going to win it "next year" in the 70's and 80's (apart from the season they were relegated). Now to this generation, it seems to be uncool to think in such a way.El Capitano wrote:Your post stated United fans used to do similar eons ago....Bomber wrote: Admission of what? What else could it possibly mean?
Please don't try and compare Andy Carroll to De Gea. The keeper will be just fine. His season has been okay apart from a dodgy start. Clutching at straws again there I think. The other lad Lindergaard deserves a run in the team now. De Gea will be the Spanish first choice keeper for years unlike Reina!NickyTanner wrote:If we were 6 points off 4th and in the semi final of a cup this time last year, Roy would still be manager without doubt.
Suarez was harshly teated, this hasnt helped us in recent weeks, AC is struggling hence why we are drawing so many. UTD have as big as failure at the other end of the pitch...a keeper who is not up to the hype. It doesn't matter who the manager is, hefty sums wasted are common. Torres at Chelsea is another.
We are not doing as well as we would like, but that's life.
Kenny has had a good 13 months, with a few dips, all managers/teams suffer these.
I hate using this card as its not many on here's fault that they can't get to Wembley, but if we get to Wembley in the Carling Cup it would be immense, Cup Finals and winning comps is what football is all about. 2nd, 3rd,4th and CL qualification is all second rate compared to actually winning something.
So knock Kenny all you like, we are better than we were last year, Man Utd aren't.......
Oh so De Gea will be fine, but there's no chance Carroll will.Jimbob wrote: Please don't try and compare Andy Carroll to De Gea. The keeper will be just fine. And I actually think we are better than last year, we've just had terrible luck with injuries. We've got more points than at this stage last season but we lie 2nd in the table due to the emergence of Man City.
So you are better than last year? Remind me again where you ended up on the ladder last term.

His last game (I think) was the calamitous one v Newcastle over xmas - hardly the start.
BTAC, I advise you to block him too, reading drivel is a waste of time. It can be better spent watching paint dry.
