Registration Costs

Post by killa11 »

Hi guys, I'm just wondering if some of you could let me know wat your club is charging you to play this yr?
Would like to compare to wat my club is asking from its girls this yr...
If you guys could help me out that would be great...

I think you may need to call around-'don't know that you'll get specific answers on a public forum. People are funny about that kind of information. And each club's fees include different things. Some provide kit and bags, other sell those things separately. Fees also vary depending if the team is in prems or not because they have to pay more officials for their matches. Good luck.

Eliz Vale, (played div 3 last year) have advertised their fees at $125. I'd guess that's one of the lower ones around. I know a few in the social divs are around the $200 mark. No idea what the elite clubs charge. And like JS said, each includes different things

To give a general answer, I believe that the Prems sides varied last year between around $350-600, depending on the club and what's included. The costs of FFSA affiliation vary as well I think. Also keep in mind that some clubs waive club fees for Prems players that they hope to attract, or give them boots or petrol money.

A couple of costs mentioned on the forum previously have been:

Para Hills Knights $300 for juniors
Para Hills East $220 for seniors and juniors includes socks, shorts and for new players a training top
Metro United $350 ish includes track suit
The goalkeeper is the jewel in the crown and getting at him should be almost impossible. It's the biggest sin in football to make him do any work.

My club (Salisbury Inter) is $220 for registration incl socks and shorts, Div 1.

Why don't you ask your club why the fees have gone up? as most have said each club is different and has different overheads etc

Alot of fundraising is done by our club to keep rego costs down.

All we have been told is that we this yr we be treated fairly like our men. Well our men get paid while we fork out so much.
We are having issues wit our club supporting its girls. After last seasons bullshit we're trying to figure out weather its worth it.
We have a coach and a team and wat seems like the support of one committee member but that bout far as it goes.
Our coach needs to renew his licence but the club are not doing things fast enough.
If it keeps up like this we'll be another team gone because we don't have the support of the whole club, that's how it seems.
