A true legend of Fenerbahce and Turkish football. Over 600 appearances for Fenerbahce and 400 goals. Was also a member of Turkey's 1954 World Cup squad and top scorer for Turkey during his days.
Sad, sad day for all Fenerli's.

Re: RIP Lefter Kucukandonyadis
Lefter felt like a Turk hence the reason why he chose to play for Turkey over Greece. (Yes, the Greeks did approach him). Not to mention his mother being a Turk. You Greeks have been in Australia for much longer than Turks, but still have some sort of a complex, which is hard to understand. Calling him a Fener legend is an understatment, he's the father of all Fenerli's. Born a Fenerli, lived as a Fenerli and died as a Fenerli.Salpigidis wrote:his name is Lefteris Antoniadis.. where did Kucuk come from? i love that a fener legend is Greek lol i wonder if Gekas will be the same at samsunspor.

Your post is lame tbh, makes no sense at all, go have a look at Samsumspor's emblem first then come back to me. So you'd be happy of a Greek being a hero for a team which has Ataturk as their emblem? :?

Oh and there was a Thank you banner in our last league game vs Manisa to the AEK fans.
I get a tear whenever I hear this chant, very very meaningful. rhymes with Lefter's name; Bitti kalem, doldu defter, efsaneler olmez Lefter. The inks finished, the books complete, legends don't die Lefter.

Btw, there are rumours that our stadiums name will be changed in Lefters honour.
