Goalkeeping SA - Keepers for Futsal

Hi everyone.

GKSA may have some junior keepers looking for Futsal teams in the off season.
If youre looking please let me know.


GKSA continues at 3 venues in 2011 until the end of November.
Gawler Eagles Monday, Western suburbs Wednesday and Para Hills on a Saturday morning.

Other coaches are Ben Moore (Para Hills) former state team keeper and Aaron Davey current Playford Patriots senior GK coach. Both have FFA/FFSA junior GK licence.

Training as per FFA curriculum and we also have English club academy syllabus and training programme gained on most recent trip to the UK from an Npower championship club.

Since starting in Jan 2007 GKSA has of mid 2011 had 24 boys make STIC teams, 11 boys make State team final 6 at different age groups and had 3 current and 3 former keepers make the State U/12 development GK squad for 2011.


Any new goalkeeper and parents are always welcome to come to a trial session for free.

An outdoor goalkeeper is NOT a futsal goalkeeper. Do you train futsal goalkeepers as well or are you just looking for teams to keep your 'keepers fit in the off season.

No I was just looking to see if any teams were looking for keepers.
I havent specifically coached any keepers in futsal alone but as I played futsal for Australia in Japan as a a boy and indoor in the USA maybe its something I should look at.

I for one would be very interested in training with a coach all year round, although being a student there is no way that I could afford to do it individually so a group futsal training session would be ideal. Seriously think about it because there are a lot of goalkeepers in this country who would love to be training specifically for futsal but have no opportunity, keep me posted.
