Your Clubs best transfer this season
Just a thought while reading through another topic and out of curiosity, what club do you support and who in your opinion is your clubs best transfer for this season and why??
Sunderland
Sebastian Larsson
always puts in 100% and has proven he can score goals, gives us great service to the front men from dead ball situations as well as open play. He works hard and is a good leader, not to mention he is on a contract much less than many other first teamers.

Liverpool
Jose Enrique
Slotted in perfectly & hasn’t missed a minute since his transfer.
Rarely gets beaten in a one-on-one contest and offers something going forward.
Excellent bang for buck at 6m, part of the league’s best defence.

Gervinho - Man with the biggest forehead
Very skillfull, quick & good in the 1v1. Just needs to work on his final ball in the last 3rd.
Alot others have done worst in there first season in the EPL

Juan Mata
5 goals and 9 assists in 17 games, oozes class, considering he's 23 and was new to the EPL, i think he's done really well.
Honorable mention goes to Oriol Romeu.

The only thing saving Gervinho is the amazing form of RVPansy.

who you will likely lose back to Barca next year ala Pique.Litmanen wrote:Juan Mata

Charlie Adam has to be up there IMO. Considering the injuries to Stevie G and Lucas he has been very important to us in a number of midfield roles and without him we would be looking very thin through the middle.

That's not a certainty, it really depends on Keita/Masch/Busquets. They would all play ahead of him now, so i don't know why he'd go back if he's not even going to make the first team.
I'd agree that Enrique has been the best signing for sure, Adam has had some bad patches whereas enrique has been solid throughout.

As I said in another thread. For us I think its been Brad Friedel as I doubt we would be 3rd in the league if Gomes was in goal.Parker has been immense and Ade has been good also but its Friedel for me.

You're just upset because he's come from the number one team in Birmingham. I think he's done an OK job with an average team and fickle fanspaul merson wrote:Villa's worst would have to be their f*#king retarded manager.

FULHAM
Bryan Ruiz, just starting to find his feet in the EPL and has scored a couple of delightful lobs and a few assists. Can play.

Cardiff
For me Aron gunnarson has been solid most of the season so far, scored a goal or two and at only 22 can only get better

Re: Your Clubs best transfer this season
Pirlo on a free (obviously though he has high wages) was great value considering the impact he has made. Vidal was another fine transfer.

Have to agree with Litmanen - Mata has been fantastic pushing a club champion in Lampard to the bench. We look more dangerous when he plays in the middle but he can also operate wide which makes him more flexible than Frank and being 7-8 years younger makes him a good prospect for the future.

I agree - our best chance this season may be in Europe curiously enough where we may be better equipped personnel wise and style wise. Our chances of winning a league title disappeared with the loss of confidence, instability and loss of arrogant swagger and air of invincibility of this time LAST year.

Enrique has definitely been more consistent, just in the scheme of where our team is at with injuries and depth i think Adam has been equally important.* Enrique has been outstanding, nonetheless.Litmanen wrote:10 wrote:who you will likely lose back to Barca next year ala Pique.Litmanen wrote:Juan Mata
