I got told that there were a few Easties boys looking to move to Gardens also, one player in particular that Easties wouldn't want to lose. Waller and S Stam are the other players heading there along with JV heading back.Monkey Boy wrote:Here are a few funny ones -
A bunch of Eastie boys to Gardens reserves
Another East boy to move south and play Southern Knights
Russ Waller to Gardens
A farmer to become a Saint
Boys talk way too much at United...
It was one of those day where it didn't rain, it poured lol.bloodypassit wrote:Cheers Jay ... I should have remembered after filling in the transfer requests back to your club lol.....

The farmer to Saints isn't 100% just yet but it has been mentioned.
Maybe the rest of just will just fight for third place

Vista in talks with two Strikers that played super league last year, both live a stones throw from Richardson Reserve!giggseleven wrote:Haha its coming along well for us boys raised $1500 already with just over a week to go. Next year ill set up an amateur league team for fundraising for a good cause... But anyway let's get back to the rumours it was starting to get interesting...
Why the need for strikers, your full backs could score on the postage stamp...Outlaw 2.0 wrote:Vista in talks with two Strikers that played super league last year, both live a stones throw from Richardson Reserve!giggseleven wrote:Haha its coming along well for us boys raised $1500 already with just over a week to go. GARDENS - Could see Ebomo The Chief playing his last season before retiring & Agius to play full season. Will see a couple new players arrive through the trees as usual & perhaps Velasquez Waller Stam & Stam (sorry was there an echo)![]()
FARM - Always keeping things close to their chest will need to recruit to cover for a retiring Campbell & need to boost their defence. May see that Farmer that wants to be a Saint turn to Gardens.
PONTIAN - Going all out last season in their big year & were a surprise packet but very quiet in off season like last year. Be interesting to see if they can maintain their squad from last year with the inclusion of Pezos.
VALE - If they keep their young guns from last year in Francis & Burbridge these two will be better again next year. Will see Crawford slowing down & taking a defensive role but need to unearth another quick left footer.
DOWNS - Like Pontian last year Downs will want to win the league in 2012 being their big year (50th) & will throw everything at it & apparently are with Trimmers, Lindsay & any other big name Motts can entice.
GROVE - Always difficult for them to recruit big players but did well with Boree last season who is believed to be looking elsewhere. But will posssibly see some younger recruits next year stepping up which is promising.
EASTIES - With the retiring of Moggy & a new coach will we see an exodus of players with Beaman bringing in his own players like he did at Westies. With Farm & now Vista on their doorstep in the Premier League its becoming tight in the recruiting stakes.
FLORINA - After a disappointing season they will be more settled & keen next season to bounce back. Pretty sure Trev at the helm again but Uncle Cracker not giving much away with any potential inclusions.
INTER - Back to the Premier League where they should be & with a new experienced coach in Pudler. Pudler ringing & talking to anyone & everyone like he does best but they are either not answering or listening. Will need something to fall their way if they want to stay up.
VISTA - These guys seem to be like the Farmers lots of talk & expectation. However with their young squad from last year & perhaps some experience they will settle in & be fairly competitive regardless.
FULHAM & WEST BEACH - Both teams with new coaches next season will spur things on in pre-season but the new coaches need to attract quality players as they dont have young ones coming through their junior ranks like some of the northern clubs.
