We play Japan next week in a qualifier. Hard to believe its 2009 the last time Australia beat Japan.

They haven't been able to defeat Japan in the last nine meetings, with Japan winning six of them and the rest being drawn.

Its because you insulted them with a disrespectful banner. They will never forget.

Japan 🇯🇵 7 China 🇨🇳 0. What will happen to Australia 🇦🇺 when they go to Tokyo?
you should be more worried about what will happen to them when they go to Indonesia

Japan are in a different league, they're not your peers in football terms.
Well that prediction was wrong. 1-1 was the result at a full Saitama Stadium in Japan 🇯🇵.

A massive loss for Australias WC campaign.

Harry Souttar will be sidelined for up to a year with an Achilles tendon injury, ruling him out of the remainder of the Socceroos’ 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Agree. Harry’s height will be missed, as will his tackles. And his distribution had improved markedly.
