Re: Answers please?
Grow up, the ref says it was all above board. Leave it alone and stop stirring hatred based on race or religion.[/quote] Race? Religion? You grow up mate! If it was organised before the match - how can the ref prove it was fixed? Unfortunately he can't, no one can. But doesn't mean it wasn't fixed ...

Re: Answers please?
If they hand Ghan the flag for this act, than it is an absolute disgrace. What is the point anymore busting your arse all season to get a 14+ goal buffer only to lose it all on a thrown game

Re: Answers please?
If that's the score that's the score! Football is a tactical game, It's like calling a team a cheat for going out to get a draw! Anyway the whole season in most leagues has been a complete shambles courtesy of the SAASL!! That's beyond bizarre, in Division 2 best team won in A's and B's I'm sure it ...

Put it this way would you be happy if Australia snagged a draw being 1:0 down against Spain? If u said yes, I could say the same thing. If u said no, than youd be an idiot.

Re: Why wasn' the roof shut for the Poland v England game?
Roof or no roof, we snatched the draw off you. Really you should be looking to win your home games so not much to boast about there. A draw against England home or away I think is a good result. Look at the pedigree of that team. They are the top seeded country of the group expected to come top. So ...

Re: Why wasn' the roof shut for the Poland v England game?
Calm down pommy. Both teams trained under an open roof, and the game had to be played that way (fifa regulations). For them to play under a closed roof would require both teams to have at least one training session in those conditions on that pitch. The decision not to close the roof fell to the ...

So now that the season is coming to an end what are everyone's thoughts on: Who was the best team you played this year? - Munno Para Who was the best player/GK? - (not being biased) Polonia keeper. Goal of the year? Who had the best food? - Pt Pirie Best club? - Polonia ;) (best beers in the league ...

I have to take my hat off to Munno Para. The Polonia lads really busted their guts out there today and got 1:0 in front but just couldn't hold on at the end.. They really are a quality side and do well in Div 2 next year IMO. Today wasnt helped by TTG losing to Sth Coast.. But that's football!

The greatest things to happen in SPL.. 1. Polish keeper Artur Boruc blessing himself in goals, infront of the Rangers fans at Ibrox, Feb 2006. 2. Artur Boruc wearing a "god bless the pope" T-shirt after an old firm derby victory in May 2008. 3. and Maciej 'magic' Zurawski.. lol  (Before ...

Re: Sunday Div 3 round 12
2-1 polonia. I cant explain how we came away with nothing today. A lucky deflected shot saw us trailing 1-0. After that we had shot after shot and couldn't capitalise. We had so much time in the first two thirds but couldn't capitalise in the final third. We spent the last 25 minutes camped in ...

Port Pirie at home should be too strong. TTG, not sure what's going wrong with San Marco's start to the year Plympton - look a very committed and fit outfit, should be sticking around in Div Three come seasons end. Not going to choose one in the game I'm associated with, although interesting to ...

Back to the Polonia ref. I play there and I can tell you that he is a good ref.. His only problem i if someone whiges he tries to explain his decision to them when he doesn't have to.. But there are some real whinging women out there that need to just play and stop bitching at every decision even ...

It seems here Lech to many is an unkown team. I can tell you some info. Lech can be a powerful team in Poland, but not the best. They are tough and their fans are some of the most insane..
