Re: Sunday Div 4a Cove FC v Maiwand FC Ugly Finish
Apparently the Refs version of events changed significantly on his report due to fears of reprisal. Don’t understand the decision makers at the SAASL. If a club along with its players purposely physically assaults an opposition team the club and players involved should be banned immediately. No e ...

Re: Nothing to see here.
Imagine being placed on a three month good behaviour bond for bringing the gane into disrepute, but being allowed to keep the title. Laughable and yet another disgraceful decision by SAASL. It depends how they brought the game into disrepute. There's plenty of ways that could have happened during ...

Re: Nothing to see here.
The season finished 6 weeks ago, how does it take this long? People in the ARBE camp told me weeks ago the investigation is done with no outcome, 'deemed to not have breached anything' I suspect the League is hesitant to set a precedent, if they start investigating every report of questionable ...

Yep. Amazing what happens when you’re not even reactive, let alone proactive. Knock down SAASL and start it again.Gardensgoon wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 11:00 pm Amateur league is on life support and has finally become amateur again.
The ffsa played the long game and it’s worked. Downs might miss the boat if not careful.

Re: Referee Crisis
I know this is amateur league but it’s related to referees. There was an E & D game today at Salisbury Villa. The referee in charge, I can’t remember his name, but he’s been refereeing since I was a kid, so that’s at least 27 years. For the pittance they get paid, he got harassed by this absolute dro ...

What happened at Parafield yesterday? Dribl says,"Match abandoned". And a Saturday div 2 game was abandoned too... I heard something, and the player accused wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. They’d wait till the end of the season, ignore multiple emails, calls and messages and then just ride it out till the issue went away.

The league usually just put it off long enough and pray it doesn’t affect the final table.
Tried to reschedule a game for about 4 months last season and they just decided it should be 0-0.

I’ve noticed some clubs, even in FSA for some weeks don’t have any lineups. Not sure if they were repercussions for that?

Cameras will fix this. First offence for failing to control crowd is $3000 fine, $2000 for the camera and $1000 for the subscription. After that any reports put in to the league require the club to provide the footage, failure to is considered guilty to the offence and then they can start giving ...

Re: First victims of Dribl?
does anyone know why the result was overturned? I heard that Espy had to tape numbers on to their kits due to kit shortage, PAC recorded the game and sent it to the League, who didn't approve of this. I’m assuming the referee recognised this and allowed the game to go ahead. Imagine getting belted a ...

Esplanade beat PAC 9-0 and 2-0 in the 1st round of the cup, but both teams have now been replaced in the second round by PAC.
