Re: sunday rd 2 results

Didn't see the game between Westies and the downs last week and there has been very little on the forum. The predictions where that Westies would get flogged and that trimmers would get a brace instead of being goalless. What was the story of the game.

Re: CITY OF SALISBURY MAYORS CUP 2013

Nil all draw to Westies and Gardens. Good hard fought game and a very good test for westies. Gardens kept rotating the strikers but westies held firm and in truth looked the better chance. Brooksy had the usual good day.

Re: SAASL Sunday Results - 1/5/11

Not one A grade from last year can get a start in the seniors at Westies. All new players to the club from lower divisions and it shows. Today they had six regular A graders from last year in the B's and no suprise tha they won 5-1. Will be lucky to stay in div 2 if the coach keeps on the way he is ...

I believe that Doran has been lured to Pontians from Westies by the almighty dollar. Sad loss, would have been very handy in div 2 to help get back up.

Westies Year

Extremely dissapointing and frustrating year to be a westies supporter. Only a shadow of the side that were vying for the championship only two years ago. In spite of all the doubting thomas's that the boy's who came from the lions would only hang around while Dave Beaman was there they are going to ...

Re: Results Sunday 6th June

Westies got a flogging today from a team they would normally have beaten. Not this year. If anyone at the game can tell me why you would have one of the leagues best playmakers at left back (eric van rhysinger) and one of our best defenders on the bench could you please enlighten me. I realize that ...

Much needed win by westies against the farm in ordinary conditions. Goal of the year by Westies keeper from his kickout had to be seen to be believed. Untouched end to end goal missed by every one.

Good luck to Tim Foureur who will make his comeback game after a knee recon for westies B grade. Been 10 months since he did it against the the downs and here's hoping all goes well. Says something about the Beaman influence of the last two years to be able to hold the three who have gone to feds yet Will be a tough year with both Foureur boys unable to play yet.(tim with knee and mike away working). That's 5 walk up starters from last year as well as young Brandon not returning ...

Dave Beaman no longer at westies, have n't heard where he has gone. Could have stayed as .long as he wanted in my opinion. Of the Port boys he brought to the club Doren is still there as is Michael Foureur,Tim Foureur still recovering from an ACL reconstruction but going well and should be ready ...

Dont write off westies yet. Four come back from lifesaving nationals this week who have n't trained yet. Tim Foureur back mid year from knee recon. Could come home strong yet. Dont worry about archies ability especially with young blokes around him. Once the the coach gets his full squad back and ...

Fine effort by westies young guns, Farm had too many snipers and not enough ball players. Ref was rubbish. It's been a pleasure to watch westers in the 2 games that they have played against westies. He cetainly kept all the young defenders busy and would be interested what he thought of the boys. He went of limping near the end so hope all was well
