Thanks for your interest. As Big Az said the finger saves are removable so you can choose just to protect a dodgy or injured finger if you need to.

Hi all, Just some footage I took of my son at the STIC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zPmBOjGmWE Its OK he is laughing about it to. That was funny on the day, but nerve racking before hand when the player lined up that free kick (had a very good shot on him). He assures me that it was a ...

Re: My son the best goalkeeper in the world
It's great when things you practise in training come off :D I just reckon its funny that he has no idea where the ball has gone. if you look closely you can see him turning his head from side to side trying to find the ball. Ah well they cost us enough money we may as well get a laugh out of them ...

Re: Issues With Club Trials
I agree in principle with what is being said, especially from the goalkeeping point of view. However we are in the process of moving interstate. How is my son to find a team if no one offered trials. He would be stuck playing where ever we could find a place for him even if it was at a dodgy club. I ...

i think Jeda you forget the point of the comp - development . that is for everyone including the refs  . some of the refs it was there first game so give them a break. the whole comp was great for the players and coaches. by the way the 3-2-1 votes were not counted. i could name a number off ...

Re: ffsa & state id champs = BS
It was West v South U11, the goal of the tournament without a doubt. My son played for South. I was glad West scored another one with 1 minute b4 final whistle, because the offsiede decision wouldve cost them the final(I think) Sorry you are right West v South. The result did not actually matter ...

Re: ffsa & state id champs = BS
I was happy with the standard of refereeing I saw. It was good to see the experienced ref's also mentoring. As for the STIC, what player would not want to play with and against the best 80 in his/her age group. Fantastic opportunity for all. Clearly you didnt watch the U11 West v North. I actually ...

Congrats Para Hills and FFSA
Well done to Para Hills and the FFSA. The STIC comp was well run and the Para Hills facilities were excellent.
There was a couple of referring issues but that aside a really well run tournament. My son really enjoyed it.
Well done all.

Re: ffsa & state id champs = BS
8 boys from the U11 West were given notices by scouts on the weekend. And 8 boys from the East. Of course there are 30 spots for the trial, so maths tells us there were still 14 spots going to north, south and country. The U11 GF was completely one sided - in the direction the sun rises, not sets ...

Re: State Talent Identification Championships
My son is the Keeper in the West Zone U11.
They are doing OK. Have played a few trial games all against kids older than them.
I think they are playing the U14 girls state team next week. Some of the more girl aware boys might have a bit of trouble concentrating on the game I reckon!

Rodney, I wanted to hear from someone that was there - not triped up propoganda, so if you were there, tell me what you thought of the crowds. So, let me get this right. For your info: over "1200 Kids" (I assume they mean children - not goats) is at least 80 teams. 80 teams divided by the seven ...

Re: District Carnival in Mount Gambier
Having said what I did about the carnival I will point out one truely awful referee decision. It is so bad you had to laugh. As I said my son was the keeper. They were 2 0 up in this game and the ball rolled to him outside the box (not a back pass) . So he dribbled it back to the box and stood there ...

Re: District Carnival in Mount Gambier
The North West squads are selected from those kids that play school soccer in the metro area on Saturday mornings as part of the North West Junior Soccer Association competition. District Carnival in Mount Gambier
Congrats to the organisers. A well run tournament despite the dodgy weather. I must confess my enjoyment was enhanced by the North West U 11 going undefeated and not conceeding even one goal! (Did I mention my son was the Keeper?) But seriously a job well done, games were on time, information was ...

My lad is very happy with his Sells gloves and Im afraid I can get them from overseas (Great Save) much cheaper than $110, if not from Red Lion agencies in Queensland.
