Re: Sunday League Results - 24/05/09

Have to agree with nugget66 comments about the game. Thought the ref was the best all year to date.Parafield took it right up to us as we knew they would. I thought we had most of the play in the last 20 minutes or so but they kept us out very well. Our defence was changed around from last week ...

Re: Sunday League Results - 24/05/09

What happened to the Vale? Heard they were lucky to escape with a point against winless Pontians. Vale keeper man of match! Have the Pontians improved that much? Saw them at PHW and they were terrible! pontian played really well, moved the ball nicely didn't look like a bottom team to me, i don't ...

Re: Round 6 - Sunday Premier

DOWNS vs pontian - Downs to win, but pontian could steal a point since their confidence would be high for getting their first league point. 2 - 1 Farm vs Westies - match of the round both in good form i think very even game. DRAW 1 - 1 PARAFELD vs lion - Parafield to strong for a struggling lion. 3 ...

PARAFIELD vs inter - although the vale played well last week still think parafield are a quality team should win at home. 2 - 0 FLORINA vs lion - florina are in good form should win. 2 - 0 FARM vs pontian - farm to win easily. 4 - 0 WEST vs FULHAM - going to be tough game for both teams, really ...

Re: Sunday Results 5th April

Vale shaded the first half Farm the second not much in it either way with both teams clearly lacking a playmaker the final ball to the strikers was very poor from both teams all day Somewhat soft penalty for the Farm to go 1 nil up but on the other hand they had a clear penalty late in the game not ...

Re: CICHANOWSKI SHIELD. Parafield Gardens V ?

I didn't hear anyone saying vale would have won if they tried, being a vale lad we were dissappointed that we lost, because of the fact we didn't take it seriously enough, we wish we did because it would have made for a much better match, believe me mate vale don't like losing especially the way we ...

Re: Sunday DIV 1 2009 - Coaches

I would see no reason why the vale would not keep sean greaves on as coach, he is a fantastic coach and respected by all the vale lads, the only reason they could get another one is if he doesn't want to, but he has to we got to defend the league again next year. :D

Re: Player of the Year '08

Chris Nicholls has got to win the award this year, he has had an outstanding year, he has been a match winner for the vale, the vale are a great team but he is the extra spark in which every other team lacks
